China Is Censoring Republicans On TikTok To Help Democrats Shanghai The Election…Again

Censorship is something we conservatives know all too much about in the digital era. I am something of a subject matter expert myself on being censored by far-left technocrats! There hasn’t been as much talk about the subject now as there was when Democrats were in power. That’s not because Big Tech has repented; they have just been lying in wait until their buddies are back in charge.

But they’re not waiting anymore. Indeed, many tech-tyrants are actively engaged in helping Democrats this election season. TikTok particularly has come under fire for censoring conservative Americans. As The New York Post recently reported, TikTok is systematically removing and demonetizing their videos going into the midterms. This includes Chloe Trapanotto (@itsallpolitics), who told the Post that almost 80% of her videos have been flagged.

“I basically know every single video will be removed before I even press upload, so I miss out on creator funds and the ability to reach larger audiences.”

Though it seems like an innocent enough vehicle for sharing dance and cat videos, TikTok is a Chinese psyop. Created by the Chinese company ByteDance, TikTok has long been criticized as a tool for Chinese sabotage, which is why so many government agencies have banned it

We know that ByteDance actively censors content within China on “sensitive topics,” such as the 1989 Tiananmen Square massacre, “incidents” exhibiting the Cambodian genocide, the 1998 riots in Indonesia, and similar topics that implicate the CCP for its evil. Although China vehemently denies influencing US politics, let’s keep in mind that if they do it to their own citizens, they will do it to us.

The Post article quoted Nate Friedman (@natefriedmanshow), who posted a documentary video titled “The Islamic takeover of Manhattan,” which hit 1.5 million views before TikTok removed it because it violated their Orwellianly-named “community guidelines.”

“This is something I’ve dealt with constantly since the app’s inception. I simply can’t post on TikTok without being worried that it will be taken down — my last three documentaries have all been censored or banned,” he told the Post.

A Chinese company banning someone for raising the alarm about Islam is a bit of an oddity, given that the CCP seems to be the only nation on Earth, besides Israel, of course, actively fighting against the global intifada. China has set up gulags for Muslims while tearing down their mosques. I guess, as far as China’s concerned, it’s Muslims for thee, but not for me.

Other creators quoted in the article include Xaviaer DuRousseau (@xaviaer) and Avery Daye (@Avery.daye). However, President Trump has been largely silent on the subject – which is no doubt part of TikTok’s plan. In 2025, President Trump said he had “a warm spot” for TikTok and that it “helped get me elected.” He even issued an executive order in good faith that allowed TikTok to work around a law that would have required TikTok’s Chinese parent company ByteDance to divest the asset or get banned entirely.

The President no doubt believed that if he gave TikTok the benefit of the doubt, they would become worthy of that benefit. It seems they have changed their tune, so the President needs to as well. TikTok can no longer be allowed to fly under the radar – they have shown that they are untrustworthy. Letting them silence the next generation of conservatives plays into China’s long game against us.

It’s been reported that almost half of adults under 30 get their news from TikTok, well ahead of YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.

That means as TikTok goes, the future of US elections will doubtless go as well. Of course, China is going to help Democrats on the platform, because communists of a feather flock together. Republicans need to go on offense against this very selective political bias, or our elections will be shanghaied.
