The records document a multi-generational pattern of arrests, pleas, injunctions, and criminal traffic cases among Nixon’s immediate family.
Court records identify Anthony Nixon, Angie Nixon’s father, as the defendant in a 1997 Duval County felony case in which he was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting an officer with violence, and domestic battery. The battery on a law enforcement officer count was later dropped. On the charge of resisting an officer with violence, records show he plead guilty, with adjudication withheld, and received probation and jail time. The domestic battery charge produced a guilty finding.
Her brother, Anthony Nixon II, appears in Duval County court records as the respondent in a petition for injunction for protection against domestic violence filed on June 15, 2021.
