A resurfaced 2022 video of Arkansas Democrat United States Senate candidate Hallie Shoffner shows the candidate, in her own words, calling on farmers and society at large to reduce carbon emissions, the same Green New Deal promoted by Democrats Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Elizabeth Warren, whose campaigns Shoffner has personally funded.

In the 2022 Garden & Gun interview, Shoffner claimed there are “significant problems” from climate change while calling on farmers and the general public to reduce carbon emissions:
“When I took over from my parents, it became very obvious to me that we were going to have significant problems when it came to climate change… I think the most important thing for us to do as a society is to reduce our carbon emissions and farmers can be a part of that.”
This is not the first time Shoffner’s climate radicalism has been exposed. Loomered.com previously reported that Shoffner supports AOC-backed red meat restrictions to fight climate change.
Shoffner’s carbon rhetoric is no accident. FEC records show Shoffner donated $25 to Elizabeth Warren’s presidential campaign in August 2019 and $15 to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s congressional campaign in September 2020, two of the loudest Democrat voices demanding America slash its carbon emissions.

Shoffner’s carbon-reduction talking points align perfectly with those of AOC and Warren. In 2019, AOC posted:
“This is what climate change looks like. The GOP like to mock scientific warnings about climate change as exaggeration. But just look around: it’s already starting. We have 10 years to cut carbon emissions in half. If we don’t, scenes like this can get much worse. #GreenNewDeal.”

AOC also wrote in 2019:
“You may think the #GreenNewDeal is ‘too much, too soon.’ But setting climate goals for 2030 isn’t due to some arbitrary political rationale — it’s there due to scientific consensus. Simply put, we must draw down carbon by 2030 to stave off climate disaster on levels yet unseen.”

Meanwhile, Elizabeth Warren invoked reducing carbon emissions while pitching electric school buses to her constituents, writing:
“More of our students will have healthy starts to their school days as they line up for the bus in the morning — and our planet will have a brighter future as we cut down on carbon emissions.”

In another 2024 post, Warren thanked Joe Biden for slashing carbon emissions:
“President Biden has taken another important step forward in the fight against the climate crisis. The @EPA’s new rule will slash our carbon emissions, make our air cleaner, and save Americans thousands of dollars.”
Given Shoffner’s financial support of AOC and Warren and their overlapping climate policies, it’s no surprise that both women are strong supporters of Michigan Democrat Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed, an Islamic Communist. As Loomered.com reported this week, Shoffner funded the same Democrats now propping up El-Sayed.
Hallie Shoffner talks like a farmer but campaigns like a Green New Deal radical.
Arkansas voters deserve to know that the woman asking for their votes has spent years echoing and even funding the very Democrats pushing AOC’s carbon agenda. It’s yet another reason why reelecting Republican Senator Tom Cotton matters, because the United States Senate can’t take any more radical leftists. And neither can our country.
