Newly surfaced video confirms what Arkansas voters need to know before November: Democrat U.S. Senate candidate Hallie Shoffner supports abolishing ICE, and she thinks illegal aliens are simply “part of the fabric” of American society. It’s no coincidence her immigration agenda tracks almost word-for-word with Kamala Harris, a candidate Shoffner has personally donated to 25 times.
Handheld video captured at a small event hosted by the NAACP’s Immigrant Heritage Month Business Expo in Arkansas last month shows Shoffner openly embracing ICE’s abolition, telling the crowd (which spoke little English):
“Yeah. I would vote to defund ICE as it exists right now.”
Earlier in the same remarks, Shoffner made clear she sees a person’s immigration status as irrelevant, telling the event attendees:
“So, the first thing to know is that the immigrant community in Arkansas, in the United States and I don’t care whether these are folks that have documents or not. This is a community that is essential to the fabric, the social, cultural, and economic fabric of this country.”
This isn’t Shoffner’s first pro-open-borders moment caught on camera. Last year, she posted a video to her own Facebook page endorsing a plan that would let mega-farms reliant on illegal immigrant labor help rewrite America’s immigration laws, a scheme that would let illegal immigration keep driving down farm wages while letting the employers who hire illegal labor off the hook.
Shoffner even called the idea “radical” herself:
“So here’s a radical idea. What if we actually asked farmers and other businesses that rely on foreign-born workers what they need? And we use what they tell us to create an immigration program that supplies our workforce and gets people here legally. But to tackle the problem the way it should be tackled, you actually have to care. And this man doesn’t. I do. I care about Arkansas, and I intend on doing something about it.”
Shoffner’s cash has followed her rhetoric. FEC records show she has donated to Kamala Harris 25 times, and Harris’s own record on illegal immigration and farm labor lines up closely with what Shoffner is now selling to Arkansas voters.
In 2017, then-Senator Harris wrote:
“Earlier this week, @SenFeinstein & I introduced legislation that would allow farm workers a path to citizenship.”
Days later, Harris doubled down:
“ICYMI: Senator Feinstein and I introduced legislation that would protect farmworkers from deportation.”
And in 2020, Harris used the same “farm worker” framing to attack President Trump directly:
“No matter what Trump says, we are a stronger nation because of immigrants. Farm workers put their blood, sweat & tears to ensure we have food on our tables. We must keep up the fight for better pay & protections for all farm workers and immigrant workers across our country.”

Arkansas doesn’t need a Kamala Harris fangirl and illegal alien advocate representing them in the United States Senate.
