Ohio Democrat Sherrod Brown is trying to run the same tired playbook Joe Biden used in 2020. Pretend to be a “moderate” while relying on the same far-left consultants, donors, and political machine that powered one of the most unpopular presidencies in modern history, and then pass woke laws. Roy Cooper is running this playbook in North Carolina. Abigail Spanberger did it in Virginia and now Virginia voters are paying the price, driving Spanberger’s poll numbers to historic lows.
In 2025-2026 alone, Brown’s campaign committee, Friends of Sherrod Brown, paid Democrat consulting firm Mission Wired a staggering $2,868,365.66 for services including media advertising, text messaging, list acquisition, and digital strategy.
FEC records also show that Kamala Harris’s campaign paid Mission Wired 11 times during her failed 2024 presidential run.
Mission Wired was a core player in Joe Biden’s 2020 presidential campaign infrastructure. According to its own website, Mission Wired raised $145 million in advertising revenue for the Biden-Harris campaign and helped build the campaign’s fundraising apparatus from the ground up. The firm admits it was embedded with Biden from the earliest days of the primary, helping construct the digital and fundraising machine that ultimately carried him to the nomination.
“Mission Wired was with the Biden campaign from the very beginning and helped build the fundraising infrastructure starting during the primary,” the firm states.
The firm also played a pivotal role in one of the most critical turning points of the 2020 Democrat primary. Mission Wired credits itself with helping “change the narrative” in South Carolina, the state that resurrected Biden’s failing campaign. Ahead of that primary, Biden himself admitted the stakes, saying, “If you send me out of South Carolina with a victory, there will be no stopping us.” Jim Clyburn’s endorsement also helped turn around the Biden campaign in South Carolina, which Democrats moved up on the primary calendar to help Joe Biden.
After that win, Biden surged to the nomination and ultimately the presidency. Mission Wired’s digital and fundraising operation was central to that turnaround, with even The New York Times crediting the firm’s efforts in stabilizing Biden’s campaign.
Now, that same firm is being paid millions by Sherrod Brown. As Loomer Unleashed previously reported, Brown’s campaign is also being bankrolled by the same network of far-left Senate Democrats and mega-donors who backed Biden and continue to fund Chuck Schumer’s political machine.
On August 18, 2025, a coordinated wave of donations hit Brown’s campaign from Senate Democrat leadership PACs. Contributors included Chuck Schumer’s IMPACT PAC, Kirsten Gillibrand’s Off the Sidelines PAC, Cory Booker’s Purpose PAC, and Sheldon Whitehouse’s Oceans PAC, each maxing out with $10,000 contributions split between the primary and general election.
FEC records also show Brown received 2025 donations from Democrat mega-donors JB Pritzker, Alex Soros, and George Soros, all of whom have consistently funded the most radical elements of the Democrat Party. If you want to see the results of their donations, look at crime-riddled Chicago, which businesses, billionaires, and voters are fleeing in droves because of unchecked crime, illegal immigration, high taxes, and a hostile business climate.
Even the messaging strategy mirrors Biden’s campaign.
Voters in the Buckeye State rejected Biden’s presidency decisively. President Trump carried Ohio by 12 points in 2024, a clear repudiation of the policies and leadership Brown is now aligning himself with.
Sherrod Brown’s financial ties tell the real story. Nearly $2.5 million to a Biden-aligned firm. Donations from Schumer-linked PACs. Funding from Soros and Pritzker.
If elected, Brown would not represent Ohio. He would serve as another reliable vote for Chuck Schumer’s agenda in the United States Senate, just as he did the first time around.
Ohio voters should keep that in mind in November, especially in a race that could decide control of the Senate.
