Elected Democrats are cozying up to antisemites who think America deserved 9/11. Pennsylvania Congresswoman Summer Lee, a rising figure within the Democrat caucus, refused to disavow incendiary comments made by Islamist commentator Hasan Piker ahead of a scheduled appearance alongside him and Michigan Democrat Abdul El-Sayed. Piker has previously stated that “America deserved 9/11” and has referred to Trump supporters as “cattle-like brain-dead peasants.” Yet when confronted by Loomer Unleashed, Lee declined to condemn either statement. Piker will also be covering Berine Sanders’ “Tax the Rich” rally this weekend in Brooklyn.
When asked directly whether she agreed with Piker’s characterization of Trump voters, Lee deflected, responding only that she was attending the event to speak with college students. Pressed further on whether she believed it was appropriate to share a stage with someone who has openly smeared millions of American voters and said America deserved 9/11, Lee again refused to engage.
Rep. Lee: I am going to an event to talk with college students.
Loomer Unleashed: Well, you go to an event with them — so you think you should go to an event with someone who disparages voters like that?
Rep. Summer Lee: I’m going to an event to talk to college students.
Charles Downs: So you don’t feel bad going to an event with Hasan Piker?
Charles Downs: What about Hasan Piker saying America deserved 9/11? Do you think that’s cool?
Rep. Summer Lee: You have to ask Hasan Piker.
Charles Downs: Alright, well thank you.
Lee’s refusal to condemn rhetoric that trivializes the deadliest Islamic terrorist attack in American history comes as she continues to receive institutional backing from the highest levels of Democrat leadership.
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries has financially supported Lee through multiple political committees in recent months, according to FEC records. She is also backed by major Democrat donors including “Hanoi” Jane Fonda and Randi Weingarten’s American Federation of Teachers PAC, both of whom have longstanding ties to far-left activism.
Fonda has publicly aligned herself with the Sunrise Movement, a radical climate group known for disruptive protests that spiral into violent riots. Weingarten, meanwhile, was confronted by Loomer Unleashed at a Capitol Hill protest that featured Antifa imagery alongside pro-Hamas and Iranian regime messaging.
Lee’s growing influence within the Democrat Party is real. She has been elevated into a central role in advancing one of the party’s most aggressive political attacks against President Trump and his allies. As the lead sponsor of impeachment articles against Attorney General Pam Bondi, Lee has pushed claims that Trump and Bondi are shielding pedophiles, allegations that remain unsupported but have been amplified across the Left.
Lee’s impeachment effort leans heavily on arguments tied to Congressman Thomas Massie, whose own rhetoric has increasingly overlapped with anti-Trump narratives circulating among both far-left activists and so-called Republican skeptics.
Abdul El-Sayed, who is set to appear alongside Lee and Piker, recently pushed the claim that President Trump’s military actions against Iran were intended to distract from the Epstein files. Massie has echoed similar claims. At the same time, Columbia University professor Amra Sabic-El-Rayess, a donor to both Massie and Lee, has publicly celebrated legal actions against President Trump.
When Loomer Unleashed confronted Massie about these donations, he refused to commit to returning the funds, even after being presented with Rayess’s own anti-Trump statements.
Piker also believes Trump is killing terrorists in Iran to distract from the Epstein files.
Piker, Lee, their financial backers and supporters such as Thomas Massie aren’t fringe. They’re supported by Democrat leadership and their highest profile donors.
Voters should pay close attention. The midterms will be here before we know it. Democrats are showing that their agenda is to demonize President Trump, making excuses for terrorists like the IRGC or the 9/11 hijackers, and go down the rabbit hole of Epstein conspiracy theories.
How does any of this make life better for voters? It doesn’t. It only serves their partisan interest to mobilize their insane, ideologically suicidal far-left base.
