On Thursday, Congressional Democrats provided a preview of what America would look like if Democrats regained control of the House in 2027. House Democrats spent the day wearing outlandish hats in the halls of Congress, because nothing says moral seriousness like coordinating outfits, before proceeding to the House floor to vote on impeaching President Donald Trump without offering any substantial evidence for the impeachment articles.
Thursday’s events demonstrated why Congressional Democrats cannot be trusted with control of the United States House of Representatives.
Before Thursday’s impeachment vote, Loomer Unleashed confronted Texas Representative Jasmine Crockett. Representative Crockett chose to mark the occasion by wearing an oversized, attention-grabbing hat and a white coat that bore an uncanny resemblance to the character Cookie Lyon from the television show Empire. Crockett walked through the halls of Congress dressed more like a celebrity at a BET Awards show than a member of Congress, showing little regard for the professional standards expected in the United States House of Representatives. She was accompanied by private security as Loomer Unleashed asked why Crockett appeared intent on turning the United States House into a circus. Shortly after the exchange, Crockett voted yes on Representative Al Green’s resolution to impeach President Donald Trump.
Loomer Unleashed also questioned Representative Al Green himself on Thursday before the impeachment vote. Representative Green, who was on his phone, initially refused to answer why he was attempting to impeach President Donald Trump yet again. Loomer Unleashed then informed him that the American people deserved answers about why Congressional Democrats were trying to impeach President Donald Trump, and it would be helpful if Representative Al Green could end the phone call and provide some clarity. Green then hung up and stated that House Democrats were impeaching President Donald Trump because of “threats against” Democrat lawmakers, this coming from a man who was literally thrown out of the U.S. House Chamber in March for heckling and shaking a stick at President Trump during his joint address to Congress.
Representative Al Green’s claim that President Donald Trump should be impeached for “threats” against lawmakers is yet another example of elected Democrats accusing President Donald Trump of behavior Democrats themselves routinely engage in. President Donald Trump has never threatened any Democrat lawmaker. In contrast, Democrat lawmakers have a long and documented history of issuing threats against President Donald Trump and his supporters.
Democrats Routinely Threaten President Donald Trump
California Representative Maxine Waters once urged supporters to “get up in the faces” of Trump administration officials. Waters continued this pattern of inflammatory rhetoric during President Donald Trump’s second term when she visited the open-border riots in Los Angeles over the summer and seemingly incited an angry mob.
Representative Waters is not alone. In March, Representative Crockett appeared determined to incite physical confrontations with supporters of President Donald Trump. Crockett issued threats against Trump supporter Elon Musk, then threatened United States Senator Ted Cruz, one of President Donald Trump’s strongest allies in the Senate, before taking a swing at Loomer Unleashed reporter Charles Downs for questioning her violent rhetoric.
Minnesota Representative Ilhan Omar has also made disturbing statements aimed at President Donald Trump and his supporters. Omar has repeatedly refused to condemn pro-Hamas, anti-Trump protesters for flying the Hamas terrorist flag outside the White House. She also refused to apologize for resharing a video that labeled Charlie Kirk a terrorist shortly after Charlie Kirk’s assassination. Representative Ilhan Omar also told Loomer Unleashed: “I will be around longer than President Donald Trump.”

Representative Omar’s close Squad ally, Michigan Representative Rashida Tlaib, has built a similar record of tolerating or embracing violence against Trump supporters. In August, Representative Rashida Tlaib spoke at the People’s Conference for Palestine, where other speakers openly called for attacks on the United States military. On September 11, Tlaib refused to apologize for appearing at the pro-Islamic terrorism event.

New York Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, potentially the next Democrat presidential nominee, has also refused to denounce political violence. Representative Ocasio-Cortez declined to disavow New York Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani’s calls to “globalize the intifada” after co-hosting a July event with the now-mayor of New York City. Chants of “globalize the intifada” are prevalent at pro-Hamas, anti-Trump protests in Washington, D.C. The terrorist-supporting protestors have gathered outside the White House gates, chanting “86-47,” an explicit call to eliminate President Donald Trump made famous by former FBI Director James Comey, who posted the ominous message on his personal social media account.

California Representative Eric Swalwell, a California gubernatorial candidate and the leader of the Russia collusion hoax in the House, similarly refused to disavow political violence directed at Trump administration officials. Representative Swalwell laughed off Loomer Unleashed’s questions in June about the open-border riots in Los Angeles, which cost taxpayers tens-of-millions of dollars.
Minnesota Governor and 2024 Democrat Vice Presidential candidate Tim Walz even got in on the action several weeks ago when he declared that President Donald Trump “isn’t going to be around much longer,” a reckless and dangerous statement about a man who was shot in the head on the campaign trail in Butler, Pennsylvania, barely escaping with his life.
Thursday’s spectacle made one thing unmistakably clear: the American people should never entrust Congressional Democrats with control of the House of Representatives again.
A Democrat-controlled House would feature endless impeachment votes against President Donald Trump based on fabricated charges that Democrats themselves are actually guilty of committing. Critical policy priorities such as tax cuts, securing our borders, and improving national security would be pushed aside while Democrats focus solely on theatrics and pointless impeachment hearings.
If the definition of insanity is doing the same thing again and expecting a different result, Americans would be nuts to give the gavel back to House Democrats in the 2026 midterms.
