The mask continues to slip on America First fakers like Tucker Carlson and others participating in this weekend’s Doha Forum in Qatar, AKA a soft influence operation to shape global opinion by buying off key voices. Qatar, the world’s premier financier of the Muslim Brotherhood, showcased its expanding power over Western media, political operatives, and even former U.S. officials over the weekend.
While sitting on stage beside Qatar’s Prime Minister, Tucker Carlson casually announced he is buying property in Qatar, as though purchasing real estate inside a terror-supporting monarchy was a normal next step for an “America First” commentator.
Tucker delivered his announcement with the same breezy confidence and creepy chuckle that he uses to sell nightly monologues, insisting he had “never taken anything from Qatar.” In the front row, Omeed Malik was seen smiling and applauding Tucker’s announcement. Malik’s proximity to Qatar and his rising influence in conservative circles have raised eyebrows for months.
Onstage, Qatar’s Prime Minister literally stated that Qatar spends “a lot of money on lobbying” in the United States to “protect” the relationship between Doha and Washington. Obviously, this money is flowing to individuals like Tucker Carlson, who is working overtime to destroy the America First movement for personal profit at the expense of U.S. interests globally.
Tucker seemed to melt backstage after the event when asked about backlash from the America First movement, sparked largely by my reporting. He became visibly flustered, red-faced, and irritated. Tucker, a self-admitted alcoholic, has definitely fallen off the America First wagon when it comes to actual policies, but now it seems he’s also fallen off the wagon of sobriety. He repeatedly stumbled over explanations for his involvement in a forum sponsored by a terror-financing monarchy.
Tucker Carlson has interviewed dictators, oligarchs, generals, and presidents. But he could not handle one simple reality: people are watching, documenting, and exposing his sudden pivot into supporting Qatar over the United States.
Tucker was joined at the Forum by keynote speaker Bill Gates, whose ex-wife, Melinda Gates, famously divorced him because he refused to end his association with Jeffrey Epstein. This is a well-documented fact, and it’s something Tucker used to care about. Yet, while sitting on a stage sponsored by the Gates Foundation, in a forum funded by a government that protected Hamas leadership for years, Tucker had nothing to say about the Gates–Qatar alliance. Nothing about Epstein. Nothing about Gates’ alliance with Big Pharma to push dangerous vaccines. And nothing about the technocrats bankrolling the entire event.
Qatar’s state-run media is already declaring victory. The official Qatar News Agency posted photos of Bill Gates smiling, shaking hands, and posing with Qatari leadership as they celebrated their partnership in global vaccination initiatives.
This is the same regime that shelters Hamas leadership in luxury villas. The same regime whose media outlets amplify jihadist propaganda. The same regime whose wealth has corrupted Western academic institutions, think tanks, lobbying shops, and former America Firsters.
Qatar does not hide its ambitions. They want to reshape U.S. Middle East policy, weaken the U.S.–Israel alliance, empower Islamist movements globally, and position themselves as the kingmakers of the global economy, from LNG to finance.
To do this, they need Western messengers, people who can launder Qatar’s goals into American political discourse while disguising them as “alternative perspectives.” Tucker Carlson, by his own words and actions, is positioning himself to become their most valuable asset.

If Qatar can buy influence in the America First movement, it can manipulate U.S. foreign policy. Meaning, Qatar can gain the power to alter ceasefire conditions, reshape the perception of Hamas, and pressure Trump administration officials from within the movement itself.
The Doha Forum was not a conference. It was a recruitment event. And Tucker Carlson is their top booster.
