The non-profit animal testing watchdog White Coat Waste (WCW) recently uncovered shocking details about how Dr. Anthony Fauci and the State of Florida used taxpayer money to fund disgusting and cruel transgender experiments on monkeys.
Through its ongoing national campaign to expose and stop taxpayer funding for woke transgender animal experimentation, White Coat Waste unearthed a study published last month in which taxpayer-funded researchers from the University of Florida and the Scripps Research Institute pumped young male rhesus macaques full of estrogen to mimic “gender transition” and then injected them with mRNA vaccines.
In response to WCW’s investigation and Laura Loomer’s reporting on the scandal, Trump’s Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. confirmed that he is working with the White House to review and cut these ongoing primate testing grants exposed by WCW and said he looks forward to working with WCW to identify and cut more wasteful, inhumane, and unnecessary taxpayer funded animal tests.
President Trump’s HHS is also now saying “None of the funds from these grants are currently funding transgender animal experiments, and no other NIH grants still fund transgender animal experiments.”
According to the study and reporting in The Gateway Pundit, the Florida-funded researchers wrote, “To investigate the immune effects of estrogen within a male biological system, we administered exogenous E2 [estrogen] to male RMs [rhesus monkeys], modeling FHT [feminizing hormone therapy] as prescribed to TGW [transgender women].” They go on to explain “we artificially disrupted immune homeostasis through LNP/mRNA vaccinations” and that “treatment of male macaques with exogenous E2 resulted in physical and blood analyte changes that closely mirrored those observed in TGW [transgender women] undergoing FHT [feminizing hormone therapy].”
The monkeys developed grotesque physical changes — including enlarged nipples and discolored, vascularized skin — before being subjected to invasive immune disruption with mRNA vaccines. One of the male monkeys was euthanized after developing severe scrotal swelling that could not be treated following the implantation of an estrogen pellet.
In its investigation, White Coat Waste discovered that these monkey tests were funded by Dr. Fauci’s division of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and with state taxpayer dollars by the Florida Department of Health.
The newly-published paper states, “The study was further supported by a pilot award by the HIV/AIDS and Emerging Infectious Diseases Institute (HEIDI) at the University of Miami through the State of Florida Funding Initiative (M.A.M.) sponsored by the State of Florida, Department of Health (award contract #CODVD to M. Stevenson).
M.A.M. refers to Mauricio De Aguiar Martins, Ph.D., one of the co-authors of the transgender monkey study who is credited in the paper with conceiving of and designing the experiment and obtaining the funding.
Martins is a University of Florida associate professor affiliated with Herbert Wertheim UF Scripps Institute for Biomedical Innovation & Technology.
WCW dug into the grants mentioned in the paper and found that the State of Florida awarded two HIV/AIDS and Emerging Infectious Diseases Institute (HEIDI) pilot awards to Martins from 2021-2022 and again in 2022-2023.
The transgender monkey study’s funding statement also refers to “award contract #CODVD to M. Stevenson,” which is reference to the University of Miami’s Dr. Mario Stevenson who runs the HEIDI program that funded the monkey experiment. His programs have received nearly $10 million since 2014 from the State of Florida. In other words, Florida taxpayers helped fund experiments that tortured monkeys in the name of “transgender” research.
President Trump has already blasted similar NIH spending on transgender animal testing exposed by White Coat Waste in his 2025 State of the Union, which led to the cancellation of many grants, saving millions of tax dollars and sparing thousands of animals.
The U.S. House also just advanced legislation fully banning NIH funding for transgender animal testing in the agency’s FY2026 budget. Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) has also introduced the TRANS MICE Act to cut all federal funding for transgender animal experiments.
Now, Florida lawmakers need to take action.
Both Washington and Tallahassee have been complicit in wasting tax dollars on grotesque transgender monkey experiments. WCW’s investigation proves the time has come for conservatives to act decisively protect taxpayers and animals from sick ideological science experiments.
