Cincinnati’s Chaos and Our Revolution anti-ICE Policies
Progressive mayors are pushing anti-ICE policies that threaten to bring Cincinnati-style chaos to New York City and Minneapolis. The recent viral video of a racially motivated assault in Cincinnati is disturbing, but not surprising. Cincinnati Mayor Aftab Pureval’s radical policies and deep ties to the far-left group “Our Revolution” have set the stage for more political violence across the nation. This same organization also supports New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani and Minneapolis mayoral candidate Omar Fateh.
If Mamdani and Fateh win, the unrest in Cincinnati may foreshadow what’s coming next to cities across the United States. All three candidates oppose local law enforcement cooperating with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). They share endorsements from Our Revolution and the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), with Mamdani and Pureval also backed by the Indian American Impact Fund. It is also important to note Pureval posted to his social media in 2024 about proudly voting for former Ohio United States Senator Sherrod Brown, who recently announced that he is running for the U.S. Senate again in 2026. These overlapping endorsements reflect the radical left’s takeover of the Democrat party.
Mayor Aftab Pureval Declares ICE Cooperation Off-Limits
On January 29, 2025, FOX19 Cincinnati reported that Mayor Pureval announced, “There is no role for local law enforcement in enforcing immigration laws.” He emphasized that Cincinnati police would not participate in ICE raids.
The backlash was immediate. Ken Kober, president of the Cincinnati Fraternal Order of Police, condemned the policy, calling it “a disgrace” that puts officers at risk and encourages lawlessness.
Mamdani and Fateh Vow to Ban ICE Cooperation in NYC and Minneapolis
Zohran Mamdani, currently running for mayor of New York City, has echoed Pureval’s stance. On June 12, Mamdani posted on X:
“When I’m Mayor, the NYPD will serve the public safety of New Yorkers — not assist Trump’s ICE agents tearing apart families and spreading fear through our neighborhoods.”
Likewise, Omar Fateh, a state senator in Minnesota and candidate for Minneapolis mayor, expressed a similar sentiment on Facebook:
“There is no circumstance in which MPD should cooperate with ICE,” adding that federal immigration enforcement only spreads fear in immigrant communities.
Mutual Admiration and Public Coordination Between Mamdani and Fateh Proves They Share A Radical Platform
Fateh, Mamdani, and Pureval have demonstrated consistent support for one another. Their social media history reveals a mutual admiration that spans years, and is often displayed across platforms.
Earlier interactions deeply underscore their camaraderie. Mamdani highlighted their coordinated efforts during campaign events. On August 12, 2020, Mamdani celebrated Fateh’s primary victory with a cheerful, “Let’s goooo!!!”
On September 29, 2020, he posted, “Here in NYC, my comrades & I ran together on a slate challenging the political establishment. We’re not alone. Across the country, other insurgents are doing the same. And winning. Tomorrow, join me, @OmarFatehMN & @MaureeTurnerOK to talk about our shared struggle on @theappeal.”
In another exchange on July 14, 2021, Mamdani responded with positive emojis to Fateh’s call to “Join DSA,” reinforcing their joint commitment to socialist organizing.
The following day, he added: “Tune in now to watch me discuss building a working-class movement from Astoria to Minneapolis and Oklahoma City with @OmarFatehMN & @MaureeTurnerOK.”
Their collaboration has continued into 2025. On June 24, 2025, Omar encouraged his supporters to phonebank for Mamdani.
Also, the next day, Omar Fateh posted a group photo with Mamdani on X, captioning it, “This is one for the history books @zohrankmamdani. New York City today. Minneapolis next! #acityforeveryone.” The post reflects a broader strategic alignment between the candidates and their shared political goals as it relates to spreading communism and Islam across America through their respective mayoral campaigns.
On July 10, Fateh posted to X that Mamdani’s campaign proves grassroots volunteerism can defeat big money. Just days earlier, he promoted a Mamdani watch party and phone-banking event in New York.
Their online history paints a picture of long-term coordination. Together, they are not only promoting parallel platforms, but are also amplifying each other’s campaigns through events, endorsements, and grassroots mobilization.
Democrat Lawmakers Fall in Line with Anti-ICE Extremism
Many elected Democrats have refused to criticize Mamdani or Fateh’s ICE positions. In fact, some have openly supported them. Loomer Unleashed recently confronted multiple Democrat lawmakers on Capitol Hill who either dodged the question or endorsed the anti-ICE movement. In one clip, Rep. Ilhan Omar defended Fateh’s policies and claimed ICE has terrorized her community.
It is also important to note that Cincinnati Mayor Aftab Pureval took to X on Election Day 2024 to boast about voting for recently defeated Ohio Democrat Senator Sherrod Brown, alongside other Democrats like Kamala Harris. In the post, Pureval shared a photo of himself at the polling booth, captioning it: “Just proudly took my boys to vote for @KamalaHarris as our first Indian-American President. And @SherrodBrown, @GregLandsman, and Democrats across the ballot. It’s our right and our responsibility to help shape the future. Don’t take that for granted today.”
In September 2024, Sherrod Brown fled from Loomer Unleashed after he faced questions about Kamala Harris’ open-border policies, including reports of illegal aliens from Haiti in Springfield Ohio eating the pets of the town’s residents.
Our Revolution’s Endorsements Highlight a Coordinated Far-Left Movement
Our Revolution, the far-left political group founded by Bernie Sanders, has endorsed Mamdani, Fateh, and Pureval. The organization helped boost Pureval’s 2021 mayoral campaign and praised Mamdani’s primary win as a “historic grassroots triumph.”
In addition, Our Revolution promoted Fateh’s campaign events and phone banks in Minnesota.
The group also proudly backs and has provided longtime support for Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who appeared at Mamdani’s July campaign event in Washington, D.C.
When asked by Loomer Unleashed whether she agreed with Mamdani’s call to “globalize the intifada,” Ocasio-Cortez responded, “That is a lie.”

Our Revolution’s anti- ICE policies are not the only radical, pro-open-border policies gaining institutional support within the Democrat Party. The Indian American Impact Fund has also endorsed Mamdani and Pureval, praising their commitment to “dismantling systemic inequities.” In its endorsement of Mamdani, the organization specifically warned that “MAGA forces threaten to upend civil liberties,” further aligning itself with far-left candidates pushing anti-ICE platforms and progressive immigration reforms.
The group previously backed Kamala Harris and progressives like Pramila Jayapal and Ro Khanna. The Indian Impact fund is known for their support for open-border policies.
At a June D.C. event, both Khanna and Jayapal dodged questions from Loomer Unleashed about Mamdani’s “globalize the Intifada” rhetoric.
A Coordinated Strategy to Undermine Immigration Enforcement
As rising figures in the progressive Left continue to advance identical “Our Revolution” styled anti-ICE policies, backed by the same far-left activist networks, the violence unfolding in Cincinnati stands as a warning sign for what could soon hit New York City and Minneapolis. The public safety breakdown under Mayor Aftab Pureval is not an isolated case. Rather, it exemplifies a broader ideological movement, driven by the same radical organizations now propelling the campaigns of Zohran Mamdani and Omar Fateh.
All three candidates share endorsements from groups like Our Revolution and the Democratic Socialists of America. They promote the same platform of resisting cooperation with federal immigration enforcement while embracing Marxist social and economic policies that destabilize law and order. Their synchronized messaging, political alliances, and rejection of ICE collaboration suggest that the unrest witnessed in Cincinnati could soon spread to other major cities under similar failed leadership.
Voters should take these connections seriously. The growing influence of groups like Our Revolution, combined with the spread of extreme anti-ICE policies, threatens to turn once-safe cities into battlegrounds where radical Leftist ideologies trump public safety.
