Ilhan Omar’s White Men Radicalization Comments Resurface Ahead of 2026 Midterms
In a direct Capitol Hill confrontation on Wednesday, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) declined to apologize for her past remarks that white men should be racially profiled as a national security threat. In a 2018 interview with Al Jazeera’s Mehdi Hasan, Omar asserted that white men should be profiled, monitored, and subjected to government policies aimed at curbing their radicalization. The comments recently resurfaced on social media, with Vice President JD Vance this week condemning her language as “genocidal.”
Rep. Omar arrived three hours late to her Budget Committee hearing when she was approached by Loomer Unleashed. Loomer Unleashed DC correspondent Charles Downs asked Omar, “Will you apologize for your racist rhetoric stating that white men should be placed on a terror watch list solely on the basis of their skin?” Omar did not respond. Downs followed up with another question, asking Omar, “Do you really believe that white males are America’s greatest terrorist threat?” Again, Omar declined to comment.
The reporter, Charles Downs, is a white male from the Rust Belt, a demographic Omar appeared to be targeting with her remarks. Downs openly identifies with his Rust Belt roots on his X account, a fact known among congressional Democrats. Notably, Illinois Democratic Senator Dick Durbin once asked Downs, “How is Ohio?”
In the 2018 interview with Mehdi Hasan, Omar stated, “I would say our country should be more fearful of white men across our country because they are actually causing most of the deaths within this country. And so if fear was the driving force of policies to keep America safe, Americans safe inside of this country, we should be profiling, monitoring, and creating policies to fight the radicalization of white men.”
Omar’s history of controversial statements extends beyond this incident. Last month, during anti-Trump, pro-Hamas demonstrations in April, a Hamas flag was flown outside the U.S. Capitol. When Loomer Unleashed asked Omar, “Will you condemn the Hamas flag flown outside the United States Congress during Saturday’s pro-Hamas protest?” she replied, “I condemn the smugness on your face,” avoiding the question entirely.
It is telling that congressional Democrats have failed to hold Omar and other Jihadist members of Congress accountable for rhetoric that is targeting racial groups associated with supporting President Trump. This pattern should galvanize Trump supporters to vote in the 2026 midterms to prevent Democrats from regaining control of the House.
Ilhan should consider why white men consider her radicalization to be one of the greatest security threats to the nation. Her racist and misogynist attitudes rather than reason motivate her, and so society should not listen to her. Her sense of justice is psychopathically skewed toward selfishness because she is a feminist and a jihadist at the same time. She hates men and wants women to be subserviant to them? Her entire persona is set against the United States and its citizens. Where does a feminist fit into islam? It can’t fit, and its incompatible. Where does islamic jihad fit into the United States society and civilization? It can’t fit, and its incompatible. She needs to take a good look at herself and make some intellectual changes, adjust her entire mindset, before she becomes despised by every last one of those white men she can’t stop obsessing over… if it isn’t already too late for that. I can’t wait to see her voted out, or charged and arrested and tried and convicted for her continual incitements.
