WASHINGTON, D.C. — On May 1, 2025—May Day, a date historically associated with communist and socialist movements—far-left activists staged an anti-Trump protest in the heart of the nation’s capital. Loomer Unleashed documented busloads of demonstrators arriving to rally near the White House. Protesters vocally opposed President Donald Trump and pushed policies aligned with ANTIFA and other far-left organizations. Several Congressional Democrats—including Representatives Ilhan Omar (MN), Maxwell Frost (FL), and Senator Mazie Hirono (HI)—joined the protest and delivered speeches following the march.
CASA Shirts and Verbal Threats Caught on Camera
Loomer Unleashed captured footage of buses unloading dozens of Hispanic protesters at Franklin Park, located just blocks from the White House. Wearing red CASA shirts, protesters clearly identified themselves as part of the organized demonstration.
As the scene unfolded, tensions escalated. When Loomer Unleashed began filming, several protest organizers reacted aggressively.
One individual was caught on camera shouting threats:
“N***, I’ll bust your motherin’ shit, man. Say it to my face, homeboy. I will crack your head upside your mother*in’ head. That’s what I want to do.”
This outburst highlighted the hostility and volatility that defined the atmosphere on the ground.
Protest March Disrupts Streets and Amplifies Radical Messaging
After assembling in Franklin Park, the protesters marched through downtown Washington, D.C. As a result, several roads were temporarily shut down. Along the way, they chanted for open borders and hurled anti-Trump slogans. Furthermore, participants waved transgender flags, brandished ANTIFA signs, and carried posters demanding the release of Kilmar Abrego Garcia—a man reportedly connected to MS-13.
NEA Showcases BLM and Transgender Support During Protest Route
As the march passed the National Education Association (NEA) headquarters, staff members stepped outside to cheer demonstrators and show solidarity. Loomer Unleashed captured video of Black Lives Matter and transgender flags prominently displayed in the building’s windows. These symbols sent an unmistakable message: the education establishment supports the protest’s far-left agenda.
Democrat Lawmakers Address the Lafayette Square Rally
Eventually, the march concluded at Lafayette Square, directly across from the White House. There, protesters gathered to hear speeches from several Democrat lawmakers, including Representatives Ilhan Omar and Maxwell Frost, along with Senator Mazie Hirono. Their remarks centered on immigration, specifically condemning Trump’s border enforcement and deportation policies. In addition, several speakers called for the release of Kilmar Abrego Garcia—adding another radical demand to the event’s platform.
Immediately after the speeches, Loomer Unleashed confronted Senator Hironoand asked whether she supports policies that protect MS-13 gang members. The reporter also questioned the astroturfed nature of the protest. Additionally, she was asked about the astroturfed nature of the protest crowd. irono refused to respond and appeared physically frail, requiring assistance to walk away.
Representative Frost also faced questions about his support for policies linked to MS-13. Instead of offering a direct answer, he deflected by citing his allegiance to the Constitution. However, that excuse collapses under scrutiny. You cannot stand with a movement calling for the release of a known MS-13 associate and simultaneously claim to uphold the Constitution.
Meanwhile, protesters made efforts to block Loomer Unleashed from reaching the elected officials. Their interference further exposed how tightly controlled and orchestrated the protest truly was.
