FEC records show that Pfizer employees have donated to Elizabeth Warren 165 times. Loomer Unleashed and Senator Warren spent last week having insightful conversations about her big pharma funding in the wake of RFK Jr.’s confirmation process in the United States Senate. Senator Warren has been adamant to Loomer Unleashed that she doesn’t take “contributions from big pharma executives.” However, FEC records also show that Warren accepted donations from the Sackler family, who have been sued for their role in the opioid crisis. Sadly, Senate Democrats have resorted to distorting the truth in an attempt to obstruct President Trump’s nominees.
Senator Warren seems to be one of the Pfizer employees’ most favored politicians. FEC records show that Pfizer employees have donated to Elizabeth Warren 165 times.
Loomer Unleashed spent last week asking Senator Warren about her big pharma funding. On Thursday, our conversation went, “Hello, Senator Warren.”
Warren: “Hi.”
Loomer Unleashed: “I was doing research into your last claims, and FEC reports show you took money from the Sackler family.”
Warren: “No, read my website instead.”
Loomer Unleashed: “Is the FEC wrong.”
Senator Warren then made her way to obstruct President Trump’s policies before returning to speak with Loomer Unleashed.
Loomer Unleashed: “Senator, are the FEC reports showing you took money from Beverly Sackler wrong?”
Warren: “I don’t know who is paying you to do this. But let’s just be clear. Look at my website. I do not take money from drug company CEOs or corporate PACs. This is all a lie that you or someone who is paying you is trying to spin together.”
On Tuesday, Loomer Unleashed asked Senator Warren, “Is your acceptance of $5.2 million from the Big Pharma industry since 2020 the reason why you don’t want RFK JR suing Big Pharma?”
Senator Warren responded with, “I don’t take contributions from big Pharma executives, I don’t take any corporate PAC money, and you and your allies already know that.”
FEC records show that members of the Sackler family have been donating to Warren since 2012.
Before she died, Beverly Sackler donated to Elizabeth for MA INC, a political campaign committee tied to Elizabeth Warren. The New York Times obituary for Beverly Sackler read, “Ms. Sackler was the matriarch of the company whose drug OxyContin has been blamed for the opioid epidemic.”
Last month, Texas AG Ken Paxton announced he secured $7.4 billion from the Sackler family for their role in the opioid crisis. Part of Paxton’s statement reads, “Purdue, under the Sacklers’ leadership, invented, manufactured, and aggressively marketed opioid products for decades, fueling waves of addiction and overdose deaths across the country. The settlement ends the Sacklers’ control of Purdue and their ability to sell opioids in the United States. Further, it will deliver funding directly to communities across the country over the next 15 years to support opioid addiction treatment, prevention, and recovery programs. The $7.4 billion settlement in principle, the nation’s largest settlement to date with individuals responsible for contributing to the opioid crisis, comes after the United States Supreme Court overturned a prior multistate settlement with the Sacklers and Purdue in June 2024.”
As RFK JR’s confirmation process continues next week, hopefully, we can get more answers from Senator Warren about why she and the Senate Democrats love saying one thing and doing another.
