On the Senate floor on Wednesday, top-ranked Senate Judiciary Committee Democrat Dick Durbin demanded delaying Patel’s vote. Durbin captioned his Senate floor speech, “Sen. DURBIN on Kash Patel: Democrats requested an additional hearing on Kash Patel. His responses raise more questions than they answer. “He has an attitude. To think this man would be in charge of 38,000 FBI agents… is frightening. His message in politics is to get even.”
Kash Patel’s Senate Judiciary vote is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. Senate Judiciary Democrats are expected to demand another hearing where Patel attends in person to answer more questions.
