On Saturday, the DNC made clear that “Obstructing Trump” and embracing far-left policies will be the future direction of the Democrat Party. New DNC Chair Ken Martin has an extensive history of supporting Senator Amy Klobuchar, who is helping lead the charge in slow-walking President Trump’s nominee’s floor votes. Martin also has a history of supporting Minnesota AG Keith Ellison and Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, who has a history of embracing radical policies like open borders. Sadly, elected Democrats have no interest in working with President Trump to advance policy that benefits the American people.
New DNC Chair Ken Martin has a long history of supporting third-ranked Senate Democrat Amy Klobuchar. In 2012, Martin encouraged people to follow Klobuchar’s social media campaign, “Hey tweeps- follow my friend Amy Klobuchar on Twitter, @amyklobuchar .Get updates on important issues facing this state and country #stribpol.”
More recently, Martin featured Klobuchar as a keynote speaker along with Jill Biden at a DFL event, “Excited to announce the keynote speakers for our annual DFL Women’s Leadership event are Dr. Jill Biden, U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar, and U.S. Senator Tina Smith. Join as we honor the women who will help us win majorities in the State House and Senate.”
It should come as no surprise that Klobuchar was beyond excited following Martin’s victory on Saturday. “Ken Martin has been an incredible DFL Party Chair and has built up an unparalleled operation in Minnesota. He knows we need to reach Americans everywhere, no matter how red or blue. I’m excited to work with him as our new DNC Chairman to strengthen our party and win elections.”
Klobuchar is the third-ranked Senate Democrat and sits on the powerful Senate Judiciary Committee. Klobuchar recently refused to answer Loomer Unleahsed’s question, “Why is the Senate Democrat Leadership slow-walking President Trump’s Nominees confirmation floor votes?”
Ken Martin also has a history of supporting pro-open border elected Democrats Keith Ellison and Ilhan Omar. Less than two weeks ago, Martin posted support on his X account for Ellison’s obstruction of President Trump’s secure border policies, “Proud to see Democratic leaders across the country—including our very own Keith Ellison—step up and fight this. We have always been and always will be a nation of immigrants—no matter what Donald Trump says or does.”
Despite her open borders and anti-American rhetoric, Martin has stood behind Ilhan Omar, congratulating her on her reelection, “Congratulations to DFL-endorsed Rep. Ilhan Omar (@IlhanMN) on her primary victory tonight. I’m thrilled she’ll be able to continue the important work of giving voice to those who traditionally have gone unheard in the halls of power during her second term. @MinnesotaDFL“
Instead of electing a moderate, Democrats choose to select a DNC Chair who has an extensive history of embracing the most radical politicians. It is clear that elected Democrats have no intention of working with President Trump. With this in mind, it is utterly unacceptable for any elected Republican to join the Congressional Democrat’s obstruction efforts.
