EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Susan Collins Uncommitted To Supporting Tulsi Gabbard

On Tuesday, Maine United States Senator Susan Collins refused to answer Loomer Unleashed’s question regarding her commitment to supporting Tulsi Gabbard for Director of National Intelligence. Collins’s refusal to commit to supporting Gabbard is concerning because Collins is a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee. If Collins votes no on Gabbard during the Senate Intelligence Committee confirmation vote, then it likely means Gabbard’s nomination dies in committee, as it’s unlikely any Democrats on the Intelligence Committee will vote in favor of advancing Gabbard’s nomination. It is also important to note that Collins voted to confirm Avril Haines as Biden’s Director of National Intelligence. Haines is a supporter of DEI. Hopefully, Susan Collins will decide to support Gabbard’s nomination.

Maine United States Senator Susan Collins was uncommitted to voting to confirm Tulsi Gabbard as Director of National Intelligence. Collins walked into her Senate Intelligence Committee briefing after Loomer Unleashed asked her, “Senator, could I get a comment on Tulsi Gabbard? Are you going to vote yes on her?”

A press release from the United States Senate Intelligence Committee states that Tulsi Gabbard will appear before the committee Thursday at 10:00 am in what is expected to be a highly contentious confirmation hearing regarding Gabbard’s Director of National Intelligence nomination. If Collins votes against Gabbard, Gabbard’s nomination will fail in committee because it’s doubtful any Senate Democrats in the Intelligence Committee would vote to advance Gabbard’s nomination to the floor.

Collins’s refusal to commit to supporting Gabbard is incredibly concerning, considering Collins voted to confirm Biden’s Director of National Intelligence, Avril Haines. Following her “Yes” vote on Haines, Collins released a statement reading, “After consideration of her nomination, I voted for Avril Haines to be the next Director of National Intelligence.  As one of the principal authors of the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004 that created the DNI position, I care deeply about who serves in this capacity and the critical role the DNI plays in the Intelligence Community.”

The statement continued reading, “Ms. Haines is well-qualified to serve in this position, and I appreciate her pledge during the Intelligence Committee’s hearing to be apolitical and share Intelligence Community views with the President and his staff even when they do not match their policy positions.  I also value her commitment to the IC workforce, with whom she has served before as Deputy Director of CIA.  While I do not agree with all of her policy positions—such as on Iran—I believe she is more than qualified to serve as DNI, and I look forward to working with her to strengthen our national security.”

Following her confirmation, Avril Haines went to Capitol Hill to testify before Adam Schiff’s Intelligence Committee. During the hearing, Schiff and Haines promoted DEI and spoke about the “problem” of too many white men in National Intelligence. Haines also told Schiff, “It’s really an honor to be here with my colleagues to discuss the work we have ahead of us to advance DEI.”

Maine Trump supporters must call Senator Collins’s office and ask her to end the DEI madness by voting to confirm Tulsi Gabbard.
