President Trump’s FBI Director Nominee, Kash Patel, is receiving good news as prominent GOP Senators Jim Banks of Indiana and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina were eager to use their airtime on Sunday’s political shows to state their support for Patel. However, Patel’s most significant recent endorsement came from Senate GOP Leader John Thune, who, on Sunday, complimented Patel on his abilities to protect the American people. It is also important to note that Thune recently demanded President Trump’s National Security nominees be confirmed “as soon as possible.” It will be interesting to see how Senate Democrats and Republicans like Lisa Murkowski react to Leader Thune’s statement. Lisa Murkowski informed Loomer Unleashed in late December that she was uncommitted to voting for Kash Patel as FBI Director, while Senate Democrats have attacked Kash Patel’s “qualifications” to lead the FBI. Hopefully, for America’s national security, Senate Republicans and Democrats will unify and vote to confirm Kash Patel as President Trump’s FBI Director.
On Sunday, Indiana United States Senator Jim Banks said, “The FBI has become way too bureaucratic, way too political, and Kash Patel is going to be a big part of cleaning it up.”
Senator Lindsey Graham also called for President Trump’s nominees to be confirmed quickly, “When President Trump left office, we had the most secure border in American history, ISIS was destroyed, and Iran was in a box — we killed Soleimani… The confirmations, do them now, do them quick… We need our team on the field… GET IT DONE!”
However, Kash Patel’s highest recent praise came from Senate Majority Leader John Thune, who complimented Patel on his ability to “protect the American people and also be accountable to them.”
Last week, Senate Majority Leader Thune’s statement calling for President Trump’s national security nominees like Kash Patel to be quickly, “Our hearts go out to everyone affected by the senseless terror attack in New Orleans. With reports of ISIS inspiration, the American people expect clear answers from the administration. The threat posed by ISIS will outlast this administration, and this is a clear example of why the Senate must get President Trump’s national security team in place as quickly as possible.”
It will be interesting to see how Senate Democrats and Republicans like Lisa Murkowski react to Leader Thune’s statement. Senator Murkowski informed Loomer Unleashed in late December she was uncommitted to voting to confirm Kash Patel as FBI Director telling us, “I have not had the opportunity to meet with Mr. Patel. Anyone asking me for votes needs to check in with me in the new year.”
The Senate Judiciary Democrats have attacked Kash Patel’s qualifications to lead the FBI. This lead Loomer Unleashed to ask Senate Democrat Judiciary Committee Member Adam Schiff, “What qualifies Senate Judiciary Democrats to vote against Kash Patel when you guys support dangerous open border policies?”
Schiff replied to our question, ” I’m Sorry I’m late. I have to get to the committee.”
We responded, “It is a good question, isn’t it?”
Voters have given President Trump a mandate to enforce policies intended to keep Americans safe. Hopefully, United States Senators will follow the will of the American people and vote to confirm Kash Patel as President Trump’s FBI Director.
