President Trump Endorses Mike Johnson For U.S. House Speaker

President Trump endorsed Mike Johnson for United States House Speaker on Monday morning. Trump’s endorsement comes four days before Congress returns to D.C. to begin their new session on Friday. The first order of business for the United States House of Representatives will be to elect a Speaker, as nothing can proceed in Congress until a Speaker is selected. A prolonged speaker fight could result in Congress failing to certify Trump’s victory on January 6th, leading to a potential constitutional crisis. Democrat Representatives Jamie Raskin and Eric Swalwell have previously stated they plan to object to certifying Trump’s election based on Trump being “guilty of insurrection charges.” House Democrats would love nothing more than a prolonged speaker fight.

In his statement endorsing Mike Johnson for Speaker, President Trump reiterated his political strength, “We are the Party of COMMON SENSE, a primary reason that we WON, in a landslide, the magnificent and historic Presidential Election of 2024. ALL SEVEN SWING STATES, 312 ELECTORAL COLLEGE VOTES, AND THE POPULAR VOTE BY MILLIONS OF VOTERS (Despite large scale voter fraud taking place in numerous states, including California, where votes are ridiculously still being counted, or under review!), ALL WON WITH EASE, CALM, & PROFESSIONALISM. Republicans are being praised for having run a “legendary” campaign!”

Trump’s statement continued, “The American people need immediate relief from all of the destructive policies of the last Administration. Speaker Mike Johnson is a good, hard-working, religious man. He will do the right thing, and we will continue to win. Mike has my Complete and total Endorsement. MAGA!!!”

Congressional Democrats would love a prolonged speaker fight to help with their planned January 6th objections. Rep. Eric Swalwell once ran away after Loomer Unleashed asked him,  “How is it going, Congressman Swalwell? You were too scared to talk to me last time. But I will ask you this question again: How can Congressional Democrats claim to be saving Democracy when you are working on a bill with Jamie Raskin that would kick Trump off the ballot?”

Last winter, Rep. Jamie Raskin told CNN, “Eric Swalwell, my colleagues and I are working to revive legislation, which we had, to set up a process by which we could determine that someone who committed an insurrection is disqualified by section 3 of the 14th Amendment.”

Then,  Jamie Raskin said last summer, “It will be up to us[House Democrats] to tell Donald Trump on January 6, 2025, that he is disqualified.”

It is vital to take Raskin’s threats seriously. Raskin recently posted to X that his fellow House Democrats had elected him as the Ranking Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee: ” I’m Humbled that my colleagues elected me Ranking Member of the House Judiciary Committee for the 119th Congress. I’m ready to lead Democrats in our front-line defense of democracy and freedom.”

Rep. Raskin was also previously on the January 6th Committee and the ranking House Democrat on the House Oversight Committee.  Raskin called Loomer Unleashed “delusional” after we asked, “did you not hand over your deleted communications because there were more tapes like Nancy Pelosi’s saying J6 was her fault? Is that why you won’t hand them over? You don’t want the American public to see the truth?”

Raskin, “No.. You are delusional. So good luck with all of your problems.”

Loomer Unleashed, “I don’t have any problems, sir. You are the one with problems. “

Raskin, “Go back to your job.”

Loomer Unleashed: “My job is trying to figure out where those deleted J6 Communications went. There is a video of Nancy Pelosi saying J6 was all her fault. The video does not lie, Congressman.”

House Democrats intent on obstructing Trump’s agenda would love nothing more than the House GOP giving them a late Christmas gift of a prolonged speaker fight.
