Laura Loomer’s X account was suspended on Friday after she criticized Elon Musk’s policies that embrace an American immigration system that rapidly rewards and extends green cards, resulting in big tech being able to hire more foreign-born workers. After being criticized for his anti-American worker policies, Musk referred to Laura Loomer as an intention-seeking troll. Then, just before Laura Loomer’s account became unverified and then suspended, Elon Musk posted a quote, “Yes,” to a post that read, “Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.” In another post before Loomer’s suspension from X, Musk implied he was a monarch. Elon Musk’s behavior is unbecoming for someone who claims to be an advocate of free speech.
X suspended Laura Loomer’s account Friday morning. In their notice to Loomer, X stated that she “violated X’s rules.” However, the notice Loomer received from X did not expressly specify the rule she violated.

Before her suspension from X, Laura Loomer questioned whether DOGE’s true intention was to enforce policies that big tech supports, like a rapidly expanded immigration system that would allow big tech to hire more foreign workers. Laura Loomer started asking these questions after DOGE’s founder Elon Musk relentlessly posted his support of an American immigration system that rapidly rewards and extends green cards. Elon Musk responded to Laura Loomer’s reasonable questions about DOGE, posting, “Loomer is trolling for attention. Ignore.”
Elon Musk went on quite a rant before Laura Loomer’s X account was suspended, posting a quote, “Yes,” to a post that read, “Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.”

In another post before Laura Loomer’s suspension, Elon Musk implied that he is a monarch, posting a reply, “I am consistently insulted on this platform.” The post Musk was replying to read, “Never insult the monarch.”

It is important to note that Elon Musk’s refusal to address DOGE’s American worker policies is made even more erroneous by the fact that DOGE’s United States Caucus founder, Iowa Senator Joni Ernst, supports open borders. Senator Ernst informed Iowa illegal immigrants days after President Trump’s election victory that they should not worry about being deported.
On November 22, 2024, Senator Ernst released a statement reading, “Iowans elected me with a mandate to cut Washington’s pork and make ‘em squeal! From billion-dollar boondoggles to welfare for politicians and trillion-dollar slush funds, my decade-long investigations have exposed levels of abuse that are almost too insane to believe. The tables are finally turning, the knives are out, and waste is on the chopping block. As President Trump, Elon Musk, and Vivek Ramaswamy prepare to take action, the Senate DOGE Caucus is ready to carry out critical oversight in Congress and use our legislative force to fight against the entrenched bureaucracy, trim the fat, and get Washington back to work for Americans.”

Laura Loomer’s X account suspension was lifted on Friday afternoon. In one of her first posts following her suspension, Laura Loomer wrote, “My 12-hour suspension is now over. For raising concerns and speaking the truth about the technocratic takeover of our country and the White House via influence peddling by billionaire crony technocrats, I have been stripped of my Premium account, blue check, & my subscriptions!”
Elon Musk and Joni Ernst’s embrace of policies that favor immigrants over the American worker has raised many questions about the true nature of DOGE. Musk must explain to the American people why he suspended Laura Loomer’s X account after she asked valid questions about the direction of DOGE.
