Illinois United States Senator Dick Durbin, who is the ranking Democrat Member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, praised Joe Biden for commuting the death sentence of 37 death row inmates. One of the murderers who had their sentence commuted by Biden was Jorge Avila-Torrez, who raped and murdered two little girls and then murdered a female Naval officer at Joint Base Myer–Henderson Hall. Senator Durbin’s policies center around supporting criminals. Loomer Unleashed confronted Durbin and asked him what qualifies him to attack Kash Patel when the Senate Judiciary Democrats support dangerous open border policies. Durbin and his Senate Judiciary Democrats are so committed to open border policies that they held a hearing last Tuesday regarding their upcoming efforts to obstruct President Trump’s secure border policies. Senator Durbin’s support of murderers and illegal immigrants is yet another reason why no GOP Senator should vote with Durbin on the issue of confirming Kash Patel as President Trump’s FBI Director.
Ranking Democrat Senate Judiciary Member Dick Durbin thanked Joe Biden for canceling 37 murderers death sentences, “The President’s decision today provides accountability with a term of life imprisonment without the possibility of parole and ensures that these individuals never again pose a threat to public safety, but without implicating the myriad issues associated with capital punishment.”
Senator Durbin’s statement continued, “I have long advocated for the abolition of the federal death penalty and commend @POTUS for this act of justice and mercy and for his leadership.”
One of the murderers and rapists who had their death sentence commuted by Joe Biden was Jorge Avila-Torrez, who committed murder on Mother’s Day, 2005. On May 8th, 2005, Eight-year-old Laura Hobbs and nine-year-old Krystal Tobias went out to play on their bicycles but didn’t come home by nightfall. Hobbs’s father found the little girls bodies the following day. Authorities also concluded that Torrez raped Laura Hoobs and Krystal Tobias.
Sadly, Laura Hobbs and Krystal Tobias were not the only people Jorge Avila-Torrez murdered. In 2009, Torres also murdered a female Naval officer at Joint Base Myer–Henderson Hall.
Senator Durbin’s policies center around supporting criminals. On Tuesday, Loomer Unleashed greeted Senate Judiciary Chairman Dick Durbin, “Good morning, Senator; what qualifies Senate Judiciary Democrats to vote against Kash Patel when you guys support open border policies?”
Instead of answering, Durbin raised his hand and said, “Stop.”
We responded, saying, “It is a legitimate question, Senator.”
Last week, Loomer Unleashed greeted Senate Judiciary Chairman Dick Durbin as he walked into his hearing on obstructing President Trump’s secure border policies, “Good morning, Senator; what qualifies Senate Judiciary Democrats to vote against Kash Patel when you guys support open border policies?”
Durbin: “Who are you?”

As Durbin avoided answering our question, we kept pressing him, saying, “But answer my question: What qualifies Senate Judiciary Democrats to vote against Kash Patel when you guys support dangerous open border policies?”
Clearly, supporting criminals is the elected Democrat’s primary objective. With this reason in mind, no GOP United States Senator should vote with Dick Durbin and the Senate Democrats when it comes to President Trump’s nominees.
