Maine Senator Susan Collins met with President Trump’s FBI Director Nominee Kash Patel late last week. Senator Collins will be a key vote in Patel’s upcoming confirmation process in the United States Senate. During their meeting, Patel and Collins discussed cracking down on illegal drugs and human trafficking. Having a secure border is necessary to enforce this crackdown. Kash Patel supports President Trump’s secure border policies. It is important to note that the Senate Judiciary Democrats have been attacking Kash Patel for lacking “qualifications” to serve as FBI Director. Last Tuesday, the Senate Judiciary Democrats held a hearing about their upcoming efforts to obstruct President Trump’s secure border policies. Senators like Susan Collins must vote to confirm Kash Patel and his secure border policies.
On Thursday evening, Kash Patel posted to X about meeting with Maine Senator Susan Collins. Patel posted, “I enjoyed meeting with Senator Collins today. She cares deeply about cracking down on organized crime, illegal drugs, and human trafficking in Maine and across the country. I appreciate her diligent work in the advice and consent process.”
Having a secure border is necessary to enforce a crackdown on illegal drugs and human smuggling. Kash Patel has been a strong supporter of President Trump’s secure border policies. Last winter, Patel was amongst those leading the charge in the fight back against Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and Chuck Schumer’s mass amnesty and Ukraine funding bill that the Left disguised as a “border bill.” Patel described Kamala, Biden, and Schumer’s bill, saying, ” You need a commander and chief who will go and secure the southern border. Joe Biden has refused to do that. He does not need a bill that is 350 pages long that gives money to Ukraine.”
In comparison, the Senate Judiciary Democrats have been attacking Kash Patel for lacking “qualifications” to serve as FBI Director. Last week, Loomer Unleashed greeted Senate Judiciary Chairman Dick Durbin as he walked into his hearing on obstructing President Trump’s secure border policies, “Good morning, Senator; what qualifies Senate Judiciary Democrats to vote against Kash Patel when you guys support open border policies?”
Durbin: “Who are you?”

As Durbin avoided answering our question, we kept pressing him, saying, “But answer my question: What qualifies Senate Judiciary Democrats to vote against Kash Patel when you guys support dangerous open border policies?”
On Tuesday, Loomer Unleashed greeted Senate Judiciary Chairman Dick Durbin, “Good morning, Senator; what qualifies Senate Judiciary Democrats to vote against Kash Patel when you guys support open border policies?”
Instead of answering, Durbin raised his hand and said, “Stop.”

Senate Democrats want to obstruct Trump’s nominees like Kash Patel in an attempt to save Kamala Harris’s open border policies. This is why Susan Collins and the rest of the Senate GOP need to confirm Kash Patel as President Trump’s FBI Director.
