Incoming California United States Senator Adam Schiff and powerful House Rep. Jamie Raskin, who are leaders of the left’s “Get Trump” policies in Congress, spent their weekend pledging to “fight” for the American people and “defend” the Constitution. Schiff and Raskin sat on the January 6th Committee. Rep. Raskin called Loomer Unleashed “delusional” after we asked him if the J6 Committee deleted their communications because there were more tapes of Nancy Pelosi, where she admitted that J6 was her fault. Raskin also said Loomer Unleashed needed “deprogramming” after we asked him why the J6 Committee had not handed over their deleted communications with Fani Willis. The January 6th Committee’s lies almost sent an American President to jail, making Raskin and Schiff’s comments to “defend” the Constitution and “fight” for the American people so hypocritical. Incoming California Senator Schiff has taken his “Get Trump” efforts beyond his “work” for the J6 Committee as Schiff is a “client” of Authentic Campaigns, a firm owned by Judge Merchan’s daughter, Loren Merchan. FEC records show that Schiff for Senate made 61 payments to Authentic Campaigns in 2023 and 2024, with two payments of over a quarter million dollars made in October 2024. Schiff has already attacked President Trump’s FBI nominee Kash Patel’s “ethics.” California Governor Gavin Newsom has allowed Schiff to begin his Senate term early, giving Schiff a jump start on his efforts to obstruct Trump’s nominees. It is essential that zero House or Senate Republicans go along with Schiff and Raskin’s planned obstruction efforts.
During a recent CNN interview, former January 6th Committee Member and current Ranking House Oversight Democrat Jamie Raskin implied that he would prevent President Trump from running the Constitution through a shredder. Raskin captioned his CNN appearance, “I’m running to be the top Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee because we’re in the fight of our lives defending the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and American freedom. We won’t let anyone put the Constitution in a shredder.”
Jamie Raskin’s former January 6th Committee colleague, Incoming California Senator Adam Schiff, also spent his weekend defending the Committee’s “work” posting: “When Trump violated his oath, I stood up to him. When he tried to overturn the 2020 election, the January 6th Committee stood in defense of our democracy. Threats to jail us will not deter us. Nothing will stop me from doing my duty to the American people.”

Incoming California Senator Schiff has taken his “Get Trump” efforts beyond his “work” for the J6 Committee. Schiff is a client of Authentic Campaigns, a firm owned by Judge Merchan’s daughter, Loren Merchan. FEC records show that Schiff for Senate made 61 payments to Authentic Campaigns in 2023 and 2024, with two payments of over a quarter million dollars made in October 2024. Other significant payments made by Schiff for Senate to Authentic Campaigns include $2 million on February 2nd, 2024, and $3 million on January 18th, 2024.
On Friday, Adam Schiff announced via letter to Speaker Mike Johnson that he is resigning from the House of Representatives to become California’s United States Senator. Schiff moved to the Senate early because he is succeeding an appointed Senator. Schiff’s early move to the Senate allows him to build seniority and get a jump start on obstructing the upcoming nomination process for President Trump’s nominees.
Schiff has already begun attacking President Trump’s nominees. In a recent X post, Schiff attacked Trump and Patel’s ethics and called Patel an internet troll: “Kash Patel has publicly called for arresting members of the media and government officials. And he is willing to do whatever Trump asks, illegal, unethical or otherwise. More suited as an internet troll than FBI Director, the Senate must reject him.”
It is clear that Adam Schiff and Jamie Raskin will be among the Democrats who will be the leading obstructionists in the United States House and Senate. It is essential that zero House or Senate Republicans support Schiff and Raskin’s planned obstruction efforts.
