President Trump announced via TruthSocial on Saturday night that he is nominating Kash Patel as FBI Director. On the campaign trail, Trump promised to clean up the FBI’s corruption. Trump’s nomination of Patel is yet another promise Trump is fulfilling to voters, as Patel has pledged numerous times to end the FBI’s political weaponization. The FBI’s politicization under Outgoing FBI Director Christopher Wray reached a fever pitch as the FBI raided Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home. Other horrific examples of the FBI’s political bias include Wray “informing” Congress that he was not sure if President Trump was shot in Butler, Pennsylvania. It is important to note that when Wray was walking into testify on Capitol Hill last summer, he refused to answer Loomered Unleashed’s questions about the FBI’s lack of transparency relating to their investigation into the attempted assassination of President Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania. Kash Patel replacing Chris Wray is a significant upgrade for the FBI.
In his TruthSocial post announcing the nomination of Kash Patel as FBI Director, President Trump highlighted Patel’s commitment to cleaning up the FBI’s corruption, “I am proud to announce that Kashyap “Kash” Patel will serve as the next Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Kash is a brilliant lawyer, investigator, and “America First” fighter who has spent his career exposing corruption, defending Justice, and protecting the American People. The FBI’s politicization under Outgoing FBI Director Christopher Wray reached a fever pitch during his tenure. During his Congressional Hearing regarding the FBI’s investigation into the attempted assassination of President Trump, Wray told Congressional Members that he did not know if a bullet struck Trump.
President Trump responded to Wray on TruthSocial by posting, “FBI Director Christopher Wray told Congress yesterday that he wasn’t sure if I was hit by shrapnel, glass, or a bullet (the FBI never even checked!), but he was sure that Crooked Joe Biden was physically and cognitively “uneventful” – Wrong! That’s why he knows nothing about the terrorists and other criminals pouring into our Country at record levels. His only focus is destroying J6 Patriots, Raiding Mar-a-Lago, and saving Radical Left Lunatics, like the ones now in D.C. burning American flags and spray painting over our great National Monuments – with zero retribution.
