Illinois Senator Tammy Duckworth attacked President Trump’s Secretary of Defense Nominee, Pete Hegseth, on X and during mainstream media appearances, calling Hegseth “Unqualified and Dangerous.” It is interesting that Senator Duckworth wants to attack Hegseth using the words “unqualified and dangerous” when Senator Duckworth sponsored a bill that supports illegal immigrants joining the United States military and giving them a pathway to citizenship. Alex Soros has been encouraging elected Democrats to obstruct President Trump’s agenda. Senator Duckworth has received donations from Alex Soros and praise on Alex Soros’s social media. The Senate GOP must stand united against Alex Soros and his Senate Democrats’ planned obstruction hypocrisy.
Illinois Senator Tammy Duckworth made her rounds on Sunday political shows to attack President Trump’s Secretary of Defense nominee, Pete Hegseth. Duckworth captioned her appearance on Face the Nation, “Hegseth is inexperienced, wholly unqualified and simply not the kind of person you want to lead the Department of Defense.”
Duckworth captioned her CNN appearance, “Pete Hegseth never commanded a unit or a company—let alone battalions, brigades or whole armies. He does not have the experience to run a Department that includes 3 million servicemembers and civilians along with a budget of over $900 billion. He is unqualified and dangerous.”
It is interesting that Senator Duckworth wants to attack Hegseth using the words “unqualified and dangerous” when Senator Duckworth sponsored a bill that supports illegal immigrants joining the United States military and giving them a pathway to citizenship. Duckworth once posted to X, “For centuries, immigrants served our nation honorably in uniform. And in return, we’ve provided them an expedited pathway to citizenship. But even so, many Veterans have been deported and denied access to the benefits they’ve earned. My bills would help put an end to this.”
Duckworth continued, “Prohibit deportation of Veterans who are not violent offenders & establish a visa program thru which they may enter the US to become naturalized citizens.”
It is important to note that Alex Soros has been encouraging elected Democrats to obstruct President Trump’s agenda. FEC records show Alex Soros and his family have donated eight times to Tammy for Illinois.
