However, the rule would not apply to Senator Baldwin and her girlfriend, Maria Brisbane, because Baldwin and Brisbane are not married despite living together for years. It is ironic how Democrats push for marriage equality, but elected Democrats like Senator Baldwin have no interest in getting married for what seems to be because of obvious financial reasons. Senator Baldwin is the latest example of Kamala Harris and her elected Democrats having no issue embracing hypocrisy.
