Can the contrast be any clearer? On Monday, President Trump visited Precision Custom Components in York, Pennsylvania. During his visit, Trump laid out his vision for an American manufacturing renaissance centered around deregulation, low taxes, tariffs, and securing America’s border. During his remarks, Trump rightfully criticized Kamala Harris’ destructive manufacturing policies of the Green New Deal, price controls, and open borders. Trump simply summed up the difference between him and Kamala, saying, “Kamala stands for energy disappearance and factory obliteration. I stand for manufacturing dominance.” In November, voters will decide between an American Manufacturing Renaissance or more unemployment and chaos.
President Trump outlined the stark difference between his and Kamala’s manufacturing economies, saying, “The year before I took office, the United States LOST over 10,000 manufacturing jobs. Under my leadership, we created half a million manufacturing jobs in just three years.”
President Trump went on to explain that Kamala Harris’ policies of the Green New Deal are destroying American manufacturing because the energy costs to maintain and run factories are too high. Trump said, “You can’t be a manufacturing powerhouse unless you have LOW-COST ENERGY. Electricity rates for a Chinese factory are about 50% lower than the price of electricity for an American factory. Since Kamala took office, electricity prices in America are up over 30% nationwide—and here in Pennsylvania, they are expected to increase another 30% next year.”
Trump continued discussing Kamala Harris’ failed energy policies, saying, “Instead of shutting down power plants, we will open dozens more. Kamala stands for Energy dispairance and Factory oblivion. I stand for American energy independence and manufacturing dominance.”
President Trump also mentioned that Kamala Harris’ refusal to enforce stronger tariffs on China directly harms American manufacturing. Trump called out Harris’ lies on tariffs, saying, “Kamala Harris says a tariff is a tax on the American consumer. She is wrong. It is a tax on a foreign country, and I proved that better than anybody.”
As his speech came to an end, President Trump also stated that his policies of reviving American manufacturing is also a national security issue as well as economic, saying, “With the help of companies like this one, we will rebuild our hollowed-out Defense Industrial Base— ensuring that America is NEVER in a situation where we don’t have the tanks, missiles, and raw materials to fight and win a war… I will invoke the Defense Production Act wherever it is necessary to quickly ramp up capacity of essential products. And I will stop Japan from buying U.S. Steel.”
President Trump ended his speech with an inspirational message, “With your vote, we will destroy inflation, bring prices down, achieve incredible economic growth, Make America Wealthy Again, and we will bring back the American Dream! Vote for Trump—November 5th will be the most important day in the history of our country.”
