On Saturday, President Trump traveled to Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, where he clearly contrasted his policies of secured borders, low taxes, and drill baby drill with Kamala Harris’ policies of open borders, high taxes, and the Green New Deal. Trump correctly blamed Border Czar Harris’ open borders for directly harming America’s economy by causing millions of low-skilled workers to flood the American workforce, causing wages to drop. Trump also pointed out that Border Czar Harris’ open borders are harming America’s public education as millions of children who do not speak English have been thrown into America’s public education system, causing teachers to no longer focus on American children, making them second-class citizens in their own country. Trump further expanded on the economy, stating that Kamala Harris’ price controls are something straight out of a Communist country. Bob Casey, Pennsylvania’s “esteemed” United States Senator, was called out by Trump for voting for every one of Kamala Harris’ open border and economic crushing policies. In November, voters will choose a future of security and prosperity or poverty and chaos.
President Trump called out Kamala Harris on her failed economic policies, saying, “Kamala Harris’ radical liberal policies have caused horrific inflation, decimated the middle class, and gutted the finances of millions of American families.”
Trump went on to lay out a simple contrast between his and Kamala Harris’ economic policies: “Kamala wants to put massive taxes on American jobs and American industries—I want to CUT taxes on Americans while putting tariffs on China and other foreign countries to bring our jobs back home to Pennsylvania. A tariff is a tax on a foreign country… there’s no tax if they build in PA—it’s very simple.”
On the border, Trump pointed out that Border Czar Harris’ open border policies have led to crime. Trump then laid out another simple contrast between him and Harris, saying, ” If Kamala wins, you will have Mass Amnesty and citizenship for all the Biden-Harris illegals—if I win, you will have the largest deportation operation in American History, starting at noon on Inauguration Day 2025.”
Trump also correctly stated that Kamala Harris’ open borders are causing great harm to America’s public education system as millions of children who do not speak English have been thrown into America’s schools, causing teachers to no longer focus on American children, making them second-class citizens in their own country.
Pennsylvania’s “esteemed” United States Senator Bob Casey, who is up for reelection in November, was also mentioned at Trump’s rally. Trump stated that Casey has voted in lockstep with Kamala Harris’ policies of open borders and the war on Pennsylvania energy.
