The Manhattan Court House was tense Monday as Michael Cohen began his first day of testimony. Cohen, who has lied under oath several times, gave several hours of testimony. Some of Cohen’s more eye-opening moments came when he admitted he was angered that President Trump had not considered him for the Chief of Staff position. While walking into court Monday, accompanied by JD Vance and several other GOP lawmakers, President Trump spoke of a new New York Times poll showing him leading Biden in 5 swing states. JD Vance also spoke Monday, highlighting Judge Merchan’s conflict of interests. Laura Loomer exclusively reported that Judge Merchan’s daughter, Loren, is the partner and part-owner of Authentic Campaigns, a firm whose “featured client “is the Biden-Harris Campaign. While leaving court, President Trump again spoke on Judge Merchan’s conflicts of interest. Monday showed yet again that no matter what the Left throws at President Trump, the American people will continue backing him.
President Trump was enthusiastic as he walked into court Monday touting New York Times poll numbers showing him leading Biden in 5 swing states. Trump said, “It’s all election interference. But it’s backfiring on Joe Biden and the Radical Democrats.”
While President Trump was in court, Ohio Senator JD Vance spoke outside, highlighting that Judge Merchan’s daughter’s firm is profiting from Trump’s New York City trial.
Loomer previously reported that screenshots show Judge Merchan’s daughter, Loren, has an X account that reshared a photo of her speaking at an Authentic Campaigns event, an organization she is part-owner of. A zoomed-in photo shows Merchan’s @LorenM426 handle flashing behind her on the podium. An X post from Authentic Campaigns on January 9th, 2020, stated that Authentic Campaigns was “excited to announce that Loren Merchan is being named partner and part-owner of Authentic Campaigns.” Loren Merchan’s X account, @LorenM426, shared this announcement.
Authentic Campaigns’ website lists the Biden-Harris campaign as its “Featured Client.” Other clients of Authentic Campaigns include Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Rep. Ilhan Omar, Governor Gavin Newsom, Adam Schiff, and the Wisconsin Democratic Party.
There were interesting developments during Cohen’s testimony Monday. Cohen admitted that he was angered that President Trump did not consider him for the Chief of Staff position. Cohen also claimed that President Trump contacted him just before the alleged payment to Stormy Daniels. If this happened, Cohen would have proof that Trump asked him to pay Daniels. This is important because Cohen told the United States Congress that he had no evidence that Trump asked him to pay Daniels.
As he left court on Monday, President Trump quoted JD Vance saying, “What’s going on in that courtroom is a THREAT to AMERICAN DEMOCRACY. We cannot have a country where you get to prosecute your political opponents instead of persuading voters.”
President Trump also discussed Judge Merchan’s conflict of interests and encouraged the media to “look into it.”
President Trump proved again Monday that whatever scam the Democrats try to use to “get him,” it always backfires, making Trump and his MAGA base stronger in the end.
