The four Colorado Supreme Court Justices who voted to kick Trump off the Colorado ballot have leftist ties that stretch far beyond their appointments by Democrat Governors. Justice Melissa Hart donated to both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. Justice Rich Gabriel accepted an award from the American Board of Trial Advocates, a group openly critical of President Trump. The American Board of Trial Advocates also supports racist judicial hiring practices. Justice Monica Márquez informed the United States House Judiciary Committee that the Colorado judicial system hires on the basis of race. Justice William Hood said Trump is a “poster child for an insurrection.”

Justice Rich Gabriel accepted an award from the American Board of Trial Advocates. This organization believes that diversity, equity, and inclusion are key to an independent judiciary. Their website read, “We support a diverse, inclusive, and civil justice system through initiatives on education, promoting the right to trial by jury, judicial independence, and the rule of law.
The American Board of Trial Advocates attacked President Trump after Trump rightfully criticized U.S. District Senior Judge James L. Robart following Robart’s striking down Trump’s travel ban on countries that have a terrorist problem. The United States Supreme Court later ruled that Trump’s travel ban was constitutional, thus proving Trump’s criticism of Robart correct.
Following President Trump’s indictment in Georgia, The American Board of Trial Advocates released a press statement falsely claiming that Trump supporters were threatening Georgia grand jurors in the case.
On July 12, 2021, Justice Monica Márquez informed the United States House Judiciary Committee that the Colorado judicial system hires on the basis of race testifying, “My name is Monica Márquez, and I am the senior Associate Justice on the Colorado. Supreme Court. I have been involved in efforts to improve diversity in the legal profession in Colorado for over 20 years.”
Márquez also testified in the same hearing that defendants won’t trust judges who don’t have the ” same life experiences” as them. Whenever a Democrat refers to “life experience,” what they really mean is race. So Márquez essentially told the United States Congress that race, not the rule of law, is essential in a judicial case.
During the hearing at the Colorado State Supreme Court that determined if Trump could be thrown off the ballot or not, Justice William Hood made the argument that Trump did not need to be convicted of insurrection-related crimes for Trump to be guilty of an insurrection telling the court, ” Why isn’t it enough that a violent mob breached the Capitol when Congress was performing a core constitutional function? In some ways, that seems like a poster child for insurrection.”
Trump has not been charged with any insurrection-related charges, and Trump has yet to stand trial for the J6 charges that Jack Smith has brought against him. So how could Trump possibly be guilty of an insurrection like Judge Hood says?
Loomer reported that CREW, the organization leading the effort to throw Trump off the Colorado ballot, is funded by George Soros. George has since passed his organization and business down to Alex Soros.
