In this three-part discussion, I plan to inform you about one of the most severe threats currently facing the United States – namely, Islam. I will take you from the beginning of the Prophet Mohammad’s establishment of the religion to the current rising attacks by jihadists in America. Lastly, I will discuss what our federal agencies (FBI, CIA, DHS) are or aren’t doing to neutralize the threat.

In recent years, Islam has not only subjected Europe to unfathomable terrorism, but it has spread throughout America as well. ‘Knowing the enemy’ is of critical importance for today’s American citizens. During the last six decades, jihadists have been carrying out their plan to rain destruction upon the Western world.

Muslims claim that ‘jihad’ means “[personal] struggle.” This kind of struggle alluded to by Muslim congresswomen Rashida Tlaib, and Ilhan Omar is profoundly different than that which the Quran preaches. The Quran expressly describes ‘jihad’ as a holy war in which one must strive to facilitate the submission of the entire world to Islam, preferably in an Islamic state.

Islamic terrorists – proud jihadists – follow Sharia law. Shariah demands that Muslims convert everyone to Islam. Those unwilling to convert are mandated to be executed. Islamic apologists claim that Islam is a ‘religion of peace.’ How peaceful can it be when their prophet, upon his deathbed said, “I have been made victorious with terror?”

To understand the threat, we must know how it began. A man, revered in Islam as the last prophet, named Mohammad, entered the scene during the late sixth century AD/CE. Orphaned at the age of six, he was taken in by different relatives. He reportedly secluded himself in a mountain cave named Hira, where the angel Gabriel purportedly came down to him. Thus Mohammad received his first revelation of God.

Mohammed sought to convince the rest of the world of his visions. When others rejected his account of holy visions, he persisted in relaying them to other subjects. He traveled to the Jewish community in hopes of convincing it of his revelations and holding the belief that with the help of Jews, he could spread his message further and gain widespread credibility. The Jews ultimately rejected that he was a prophet. Angered, he went back to Mecca and changed his religious doctrine from something that resembled Judaism and respect held respect for “the people of the book” into a vile screed against those who refused Islam. After the revision, he gained a mass of followers. He led his followers through the Middle East, forcing conversion and killing those who wouldn’t admit that Allah is the one true God.

The first major battle the Muslims fought was in Quraysh. Mohammad quoted the Quran to his men before the fight “[When] you meet those who disbelieve strike necks until, when you have inflicted slaughter upon them, then secure their bonds, and either favor afterward or ransom until the war lies down its burdens.” (Quran 47:4), as explained in Robert Spencer’s book “The History of Jihad From Muhammad to ISIS.” By the time he reencountered the Jewish community, he had already convinced the Arab nations that this was the will of Allah and that Allah was on the side of those killing disbelievers.

Mohammad’s real distaste for the Jew came when, not long after the Battle of Uhud, several members of one of the Jewish tribes of Medina, the Banu Nadir, conspired to kill Muhammad by dropping a large stone on his head as he passed by one of their houses. When Mohammad found out about the plot, he proclaimed, ‘The Jews have declared war.’” ( politicalislam.org)

Fifteen hundred years later, Muslims are still waging war on the Jews. In modern times, you can hear Islamist extremists quote Mohammad’s words written within their holy book, the Quran: “You brothers of monkeys, has God disgraced you and brought His vengeance upon you?”

The Koran repeats on three occasions: “Allah transformed the Sabbath-breaking Jews into pigs and monkeys.” (Quran 2:62-65.5:59-60, and 7:166). At contemporary mosques, one can hear Imams repeat the aforementioned line to their congregants. Ironically enough, Mohammad would later take a Jewish wife and convert her to Islam.

The Quran is no friend to the Christian either. In the early seventh century, Jews and Christians were compelled to wear particular garments to identify themselves. Christians were forced to wear a blue rope, Jews forced to wear a gold star. (Sound familiar?)

The literary trilogy Muslims use is comprised of the Quran, the Sira (a biography of Mohammed), and Hadith (the Traditions of Mohammed). ‘Jihad’ is so important that it is included in each of the three Islamic canons. According to Dr. Bill Warner:

“…the subject of ‘jihad’ comprises 24% of the latter portion of the Koran, 21% of the Bukhari Hadith, and 67% of the Sira. If someone says he follows these books, he admits to you that he follows jihad. There are four kinds of jihad: the sword, writing, speech, and money. Many may not be violent, but Muslims are obligated to defend their fellow Muslims and jihad by way of writing about it, speaking up for other Muslims and their causes, and by donations.

Mohammad’s life is considered to be the perfect example of how one should live. Using the trilogy of books, jihadists and Islamists alike follow the guidance of their prophet to this day. These same religious books mention that it is morally acceptable to have sex slaves, torture non-Muslims, kill those who leave Islam, engage in polygamy, and abuse women.  Jihadists take the violence in the Quran to extremes.

The books permit and require Muslims to lie if it furthers the cause of establishing the Islamic State throughout the world. The end of the mission to re-establishing the caliphate is to establish “peace” under Sharia law. Islamists have started many organizations that have spread throughout the United States. All fifty states have Islamic centers, mosques linked to terrorist organizations, radicalized education of Islam, and front groups for the Muslim Brotherhood.

Today, jihadists have infiltrated all of society’s major institutions – namely government, national security, educational system, and our economy. In the next article, I will describe where in the United States they are teaching extremist ideology, and what threats we currently face.

Until then, here are some quotes from the Quran, the holy book of the “Religion of Peace.”:

3:28 Let not believers take disbelievers as allies rather than believers. And whoever [of you] does that has nothing with Allah, except when taking precaution against them in prudence. And Allah warns you of Himself, and to Allah is the [final] destination.

3:85 And whoever desires other than Islam as religion – never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers.

5:33 Indeed, the penalty for those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and strive upon earth [to cause] corruption is none but that they are killed or crucified or that their hands and feet be cut off from opposite sides or that they are exiled from the land. That is for them a disgrace in this world, and for them in the Hereafter is a great punishment,

8:12 [Remember] when your Lord inspired the angels, “I am with you, so strengthen those who have believed. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieved, so strike [them] upon the necks and strike from them every fingertip.”

8:60 And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them whom you do not know [but] whom Allah knows. And whatever you spend in the cause of Allah will be fully repaid to you, and you will not be wronged.

8:65 O Prophet, urge the believers to battle. If there are among you twenty [who are] steadfast, they will overcome two hundred. And if there are among you one hundred [who are] steadfast, they will overcome a thousand of those who have disbelieved because they are a people who do not understand.
