Who is Tiara Mack? She may be a freshman State Senator of Rhode Island and avowed BLM activist, but is she a legal resident of Rhode Island? Senator Mack likely committed fraud by running in the state of Rhode Island. In order to run for any government position in the State of Rhode Island, one must be a registered voter. According to Mack’s driver license, Mack is still a resident of South Carolina.

On January 19th, 2021, State Senator Mack was involved in a traffic accident at Rhode Island College. According to the police records obtained from an anonymous source, her driver’s license is still registered to South Carolina. The vehicle she was driving lacked valid registration but had Rhode Island plates. The police report states that after exchanging information between Mack and police, “[i]t was at this time that the police were contacted due to lack of information verification of the operator of Vehicle #1.” (Vehicle #1 being the vehicle Senator Mack was operating.)

State Senator Mack is originally from South Carolina. Mack moved to Rhode Island for her collegiate years at Brown University, graduating in 2016. She subsequently pursued her Master’s of Education degree at Boston University from 2016-2018. According to her LinkedIn profile, she is currently a youth organizing specialist for Planned Parenthood of Southern New England. Where does State Senator Mack legally reside? According to the police report she is living in an apartment in Rhode Island; however, has yet to change her license.

Voter identification laws in the state of Rhode Island stipulate the following:
§ 17-19-24.2. Voter identification.
(a) Beginning on January 1, 2012, any person claiming to be a registered and eligible voter who desires to vote at a primary election, special election, or general election shall provide proof of identity. For purposes of this section, proof of identity shall be valid if unexpired or expired no more than six (6) months prior to voting, and shall include:
(1) A valid and current document showing a photograph of the person to whom the document was issued, including without limitation:
(i) Rhode Island driver’s license;
(ii) Rhode Island voter identification card;
(iii) United States passport;
(iv) Identification card issued by a United States educational institution;
(v) United States military identification card;
(vi) Identification card issued by the United States or the State of Rhode Island;
(vii) Government issued medical card.
(2) A valid and current document without a photograph of the person to whom the document was issued, including without limitation:
(i) Birth certificate;
(ii) Social security card;
(iii) Government issued medical card.
(b) From and after January 1, 2014, any person claiming to be a registered and eligible voter who desires to vote at a primary election, special election, or general election shall provide proof of identity listed in subsection (a)(1).
(c) No later than January 1, 2012, Rhode Island voter identification cards will be issued upon request, and at no expense to the voters, at locations and in accordance with procedures established by rules and regulations promulgated by the secretary of state. The purpose of this section is to provide voter identification cards to those voters who do not possess the identification listed in subsection (a)(1).
(d) If the person claiming to be a registered and eligible voter is unable to provide proof of identity as required in subsections (a)(1) and (a)(2) above, the person claiming to be a registered voter shall be allowed to vote a provisional ballot pursuant to § 17-19-24.3 upon completing a provisional ballot voter’s certificate and affirmation. The local board shall determine the validity of the provisional ballot pursuant to § 17-19-24.3.
The police report which documents that Mack has a South Carolina driver’s license shows that she is already in violation of Rhode Island driving laws which require residents to get a Rhode Island driver’s license withing the first 30 days of their residency.=In order to drive in Rhode Island, a RI resident must hold a Rhode Island I.D. Seeking public office in RI requires voter registration. The police report clearly has a date of January 19, 2021, which means Mack is in violation of Rhode Island election laws and driver laws. A photo that Mack posted of herself the day she filed her candidacy paperwork shows that she wrote “8 years” in the section where is asks how long she has been a Rhode Island resident.
In her photo where she’s holding up her candidacy paperwork, Mack said,
“I officially filed for candidacy today. I never saw myself here, but I am so unbelievably thankful to have arrived. I am so humbled by this experience. I know We can create a world where justice for the people isn’t questioned. Looking forward to September.”
The post was followed up with a black power fist.
This is clearly a lie, or at best, an active form of deception given that Mack’s driver’s license is from South Carolina, where she is originally from. When you file for candidacy, you have to provide a copy of your ID, which means Rhode Island election officials turned a blind eye and allowed Mack to fraudulently file for office.
How did Senator Mack get around this? And who signed off on her paperwork?

It is possible that Mack used her Brown University ID card as identification. Nonetheless, her Brown card expired in 2016. Other forms of identification she may have used, such as passport, birth certificate, etc. would not have established residency.
The Rhode Island DMV states:
Within thirty (30) days of moving to Rhode Island and establishing residency, you must obtain a Rhode Island Operator’s License as required by state law (§ Section 31-10-1).
State Senator Mack announced her campaign in June of 2019. According to Secretary of State Guildlines, anyone who seeks state office must be a resident of Rhode Island for at least 30 days. By not changing her license within 30 days, Mack broke the law, thus not claiming residency. If she didn’t claim residency, she could not legally run.
After establishing she isn’t legally a resident of Rhode Island, one might ask himself ‘who knew?’ One must be approved to be on the ballot. Who failed to address this? The Secretary of State’s office sets out these guidelines. How can they just ignore them? Secretary of State Nellie Gorbea must have known about this fraudulently elected State Senator. It is her job, or duty rather, to conduct the state elections. Maybe the late filing threw her off?
Furthermore, her filings weren’t notarized. (As seen in the picture provided.) Between locked police records, unnotarized filings, and an out of State I.D., we have no other choice but to say this was a fraudulent win.
In order to run, the requirements include:
In Rhode Island, all candidates must adhere to the same filing procedure, regardless of partisan affiliation. First, a candidate must file a declaration of candidacy. A candidate for statewide or federal office must submit this form to the Rhode Island Secretary of State. A candidate for the state legislature must file the declaration with the local board of canvassers in the city or town where he or she is registered to vote. Declarations of candidacy may be filed during the last consecutive Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday in June of the election year.[1][2]

A party candidate uses the declaration of candidacy to declare partisan affiliation, as well. If a candidate belongs to a party but wishes to run under a different party label, he or she must disaffiliate from the original party 90 days prior to filing the declaration of candidacy. Party-affiliated candidates may choose to run as independent candidates. Likewise, unaffiliated candidates may file as party candidates. Once they do, they automatically become members of the party.[1][3]
There are a lot of people involved with the acceptance of a candidate to be on an election ballot. How could so many miss this? We must also ask what are the implications? She should be promptly fired from her position, that she illegally ran for. If State Senator Mack is okay with committing fraud to get into office, what will she do when she’s in it? State Senator Mack had over a year and a half to change her residency, why didn’t she? Not only is she driving illegally in the State of Rhode Island; by not updating her address within the time limit, she ran illegally. She is not a legal resident. This sets a worrisome precedent for future elections and must be rectified immediately.
