With social media platforms censoring Conservatives at an all time high, Twitter users are moving in droves to “the people driven social platform” Parler.
Many users of Twitter have noticed a recent influx of censorship with the deletion of tweets without warning due to Terms of Service violations that are ever-evolving, new policies being added to the TOS, new warning labels being added onto tweets belonging to President Trump and other prominent Conservatives, and their latest, “fact-checking” labels where they offer the reader an “alternative” to the information being posted in the original tweet.
Other users are all too familiar with the site shadowbanning and ghostbanning their accounts, suspending accounts – be it temporarily or permanently – as well as having been locked out of their account for vague reasons having to do with follower count or liking too many tweets and it being picked up by the algorithms as “bot-like” behavior.
Twitter doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. In a recent press released, they stated the following:
“We may suspend or terminate your account or cease providing you with all or part of the Services at any time for any or no reason, including, but not limited to, if we reasonably believe:
(i) you have violated these Terms or the Twitter Rules and Policies or Periscope Community Guidelines, (ii) you create risk or possible legal exposure for us; (iii) your account should be removed due to unlawful conduct, (iv) your account should be removed due to prolonged inactivity; or (v) our provision of the Services to you is no longer commercially viable. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you by the email address associated with your account or the next time you attempt to access your account, depending on the circumstances. In all such cases, the Terms shall terminate, including, without limitation, your license to use the Services, except that the following sections shall continue to apply: II, III, V, and VI.
One of Parler’s largest accounts is that of journalist, political activist, and Republican Congressional candidate, Laura Loomer who is currently running for Florida’s 21st District. Loomer recently eclipsed her “pre-ban” Twitter following on Parler and continues her fight against Big Tech censorship from the platform that has pledged to never censor their users, Parler.
In addition, Loomer is leading the #TWEXIT movement, which helps guide those wanting to migrate from Twitter to Parler.
Loomer is not the only Conservative voice that has created an account on Parler. Most prominent Conservative voices that have gotten the perma-boot from Twitter and other social media platforms (like Milo Yiannopolous, Roger Stone, Alex Jones, Gavin McInnes, and the recently banned Katie Hopkins and Carpe Donktum) can all be found on Parler.
Even Conservative personalities who have not been banned from Twitter have set up shop on Parler, including members of the Trump family and Trump Team, Dan Bongino, Sara Carter, and many more.
Joining Parler is quick and simple, just click the link here and be sure to follow your favorite Conservatives, for speech that will never be stifled. Here’s a short list to get you started:
