It is a well known fact that social media is now considered to be one of the most widely used platforms for communication across the planet, while ISIS is funded with illicit sales of energy products and weapons. ISIS supporters send money, weapons, and any other items they require to operate.
On November 18, 2019, Thomas Osadzinski, 20, was arrested in Chicago. The criminal complaint charges him with one count of attempting to provide material support and resources to a foreign terrorist organization. Osadzinski appeared today before U.S. Magistrate Judge Jeffrey Cole in Chicago and was ordered to be held without bond.
The ISIS supporter from Obama’s hometown of Chicago was a student at a private Catholic University studying computer programming. According to the complaint, Osadzinski designed a process that uses a computer script to make ISIS propaganda more conveniently accessed and disseminated by users on a social media platform.
It is a well known fact that social media platforms remove politicians, political activists, and journalists whom they believe do not align with their company “values”. ISIS on the other hand, and their supporters freely disseminate the terrorist group’s propaganda materials online to as wide an audience as possible in order to recruit fighters and inspire violence against the United States and other countries.
According to the complaint, Osadzinski’s computer process would automatically copy and preserve ISIS media postings in an organized format, allowing social media users to continue to conveniently access and disseminate the content.
It was determined that earlier this year the Muslim student in the Catholic school shared the script he created with instructions on how to use it to people who are members of pro-ISIS media organizations and ISIS supporters.
In fact, some of the people that Osadzinski sent the script and instructions to were actually covert FBI agents and a confidential informant that works with law enforcement.
Osadzinski sent one of the covert FBI agents a photo of an ISIS flag with a handwritten note on it saying:
I renew my pledge to Abu Ibrahim Al-Hashimi Al-Qurashi, in the land of America.Thomas Osadzinski
It has been reported that Al-Qurashi is the new leader of ISIS, who succeeded Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi.
Terrorists use the same means we do to distribute news and communicate. In the United States of America, American companies have begun to purge pro-American and pro-Israel speech off their platforms, yet terrorist organizations run rampant.
In fact, even our Main Stream Media (MSM) are terrorist sympathizers which was “proudly” demonstrated with the OBITUARY for al-Baghdadi, a terrorist, in the Washington Post.
