A non-profit group that spends its resources harassing President Donald J. Trump’s judicial nominees, and has a particular interest in fighting Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh over false allegations of sexual misconduct, is taking aim at Facebook.
“An advocacy group is targeting Facebook employees with ads on LinkedIn, objecting to the company’s support of an event honoring Supreme Court justice Brett Kavanaugh. The group, Demand Justice, has a clear message for employees: ‘Tell Facebook: stop funding the fight to normalize Brett Kavanaugh,'” The Verge reported.
Demand Justice is obsessed with Kavanaugh. In fact, one of their main campaigns is to have him impeached from the nation’s highest court. They claim that he sexually assaulted Christine Blasey Ford, despite the fact that there has never been one shred of evidence to prove that claim, and thus, he must be removed from the court. In reality, the group knows that Kavanaugh is conservative and its work to remove him is strictly political.
Enter Facebook.
Facebook is a “Gold Circle” sponsor for a Federalist Society event on Nov. 14, at which Kavanaugh will speak. The Federalist Society is a conservative organization that is “dedicated to reforming the current legal order.”
Demand Justice is mad that Facebook is sponsoring such an event.
“Facebook should not be sponsoring the rehabbing of Brett Kavanaugh’s reputation when Dr. Blasey Ford remains unable to resume a normal life after bravely coming forward last year,” Katie O’Connor, senior counsel for Demand Justice reportedly said. “You can claim to respect survivors of sexual assault or you can pay for a celebration of Brett Kavanaugh, but you can’t do both.”
More than a year after the left smeared a good man and attempted to ruin his life without evidence of wrongdoing, the same shrieking harpies are still at it. The group complained at the time of the Kavanaugh confirmation hearings that a Facebook employee sat in and listened.
But Demand Justice is not to be taken seriously. It appears to cry wolf professionally over Trump’s judicial appointees. One of its other major campaigns, besides impeaching Kavanaugh, is to simply oppose every judge nominated by Trump, all of whom it characterizes as “extreme.”

For example, one of the group’s latest projects is to oppose the nomination of Judge Steven Menashi, tapped Thurgood Marshall’s seat on the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. The group says Menashi “may have been involved in the coverup of the call between President Trump and the president of Ukraine at the center of the impeachment inquiry.”
The problem with that, of course, is that the “coverup” is a totally bogus, left-wing sham, along with the rest of the impeachment inquiry. Trump has long since released the transcript of the very phone call dishonest activist groups like Demand Justice say he’s attempting to cover up.
Demand Justice is not alone in its attempt to shame Facebook for sponsoring an event at which Kavanaugh will speak.
“Facebook’s unabashed support of the Federalist Society and Brett Kavanaugh sends a clear signal to survivors everywhere – that Facebook is not on their side,” co-founder and executive director of feminist organization UltraViolet Shaunna Thomas reportedly said.
Facebook, which focuses heavily on social justice, apparently still isn’t woke enough to survive the wrath of the social justice mob.
What a shame.
