Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the democratic socialist from New York who is famed in legend and song for her extreme ignorance of the U.S. Constitution, is standing in solidarity with nearly 1000 anti-police, law breaking protesters, who jumped turnstiles and yelled profanities at cops over the weekend.

The progressive freshman Democrat, who has quickly become the face of the Democrat Party, tweeted a video of the mob of anti-police protesters hopping subway turnstiles in the subway Friday, as she warned about the disparity of the U.S. justice system.

“Ending mass incarceration means challenging a system that jails the poor to free the rich,” the left-wing freshman congresswoman tweeted.

Impoverished residents of New York City should not be required to pay for transportation, Ocasio-Cortez continued.

“Arresting people who can’t afford a $2.75 fare makes no one safer and destabilizes our community,” she wrote. “New Yorkers know that, they’re not having it, and they’re standing up for each other.”

Another video posted on social media shows protesters assisting each other to jump the turnstiles without paying the fare.

Others were seen erupting in mayhem as they waved signs with slogans including “No cops, no fares,” “Punch that cop” and “Poverty is not a crime.”

Claiming the crackdown on subway fare evaders is police brutality, the leftist mob gathered on Halloween night in Brownsville, Brooklyn as they “pelted NYPD squad cars with boxes, trash and eggs, then mocked officers, ‘Trick or treat, motherf–kers!’” the New York Post reports. “Some police cars were marred with graffiti that read ‘F–k NYPD.’”

“Videos taken during the protest showed people chanting ‘Shut this racist system down’ on the street, while those inside a subway station were seen standing behind a barricade and shouting ‘How do you spell racist? N-Y-P-D’ while holding up their middle fingers at police officers standing a few feet away,” Daily Mail reports.

The mob then resumed the protest Friday night, reportedly congregating in Downtown Brooklyn Barclays center at 7pm, raucously shouting obscenities while brandishing anti-police signs that read, “Fuck the police” and “NYPD KKK.”

Just one protester was arrested, while another was given a summons, the Post reports.

The leftist mob organized the protest following a video showing a cop punching a teen in the midst of a fight with another teen, as police attempted to break up the altercation at the Jay Street-MetroTech subway station on October 25 in downtown Brooklyn. Footage of the incident went viral.

The protesters are also demonstrating against the NYPD’s announcement vowing to employ 500 additional cops to monitor the subway and arrest any commuter who evades the $2.75 fee and jumps the turnstile.

Ocasio-Cortez’s support of the law-breaking protesters drew the ire of NYPD union boss Ed Mullins.

”AOC is a political figure who is popular with other cuckoo people,” said Mullins, president of the Sergeants Benevolent Association. “People with common sense pay no attention to her.”

New York City, which went from being one of the most dangerous cities in the country to one of the safest during former mayor Rudy Giuliani’s leadership, is once again becoming a dump under the progressive reign of Democrats, President Trump warned moments before the protests erupted.

“I love New York, but New York can never be great again under the current leadership of Governor Andrew Cuomo (the brother of Fredo), or Mayor Bill DeBlasio. Cuomo has weaponized the prosecutors to do his dirty work (and to keep him out of jams), a reason some don’t want to be in New York, and another reason they are leaving,” Trump tweeted Friday.

Like Ocasio-Cortez, current New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and Governor Andrew Cuomo are putting a target on the backs of “our great” police officers, the president continued.

Taxes and energy costs are way too high, Upstate is being allowed to die as other nearby states frack & drill for Gold (oil) while reducing taxes & creating jobs by the thousands,” He continued. “NYC is getting dirty & unsafe again, as our great police are being disrespected, even with water dumped on them, because a Mayor and Governor just don’t “have their backs.” New York’s Finest must be cherished, respected and loved. Too many people are leaving our special New York.”
