Michigan, Minnesota Democrats Refuse To Endorse Tlaib And Omar (VIDEO)

Freshman Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) are so flagrantly radical and anti-Semitic, their own party doesn’t want to be associated with the Islamic lawmakers.
When asked whether they would endorse the congresswomen, who quickly gained notoriety for their associations with the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and anti-Jewish rhetoric, Democratic lawmakers in Michigan and Minnesota are as silent as church mice.
In footage obtained by conservative political trackers, Michigan representatives Elissa Slotkin (D) and Haley Stevens (D) refrained from responding to questions on whether they would endorse Tlaib.
“Will you be endorsing Congresswoman Tlaib for her reelection?”, Slotkin was asked, prompting her to look away and hastily keep it moving.
Slotkin, a Jewish American, voted for the House resolution condemning anti-Semitism in March. While she strategically remains hush, the Muslim congresswoman unapologetically blasted Republicans for calling attention to Omar and Tlaib’s anti-Semitism. In an effort to deflect her party’s refusal to condemn Omar and Tlaib’s anti-Jewish, anti-Israel assertions, Slotkin claimed in July that Republicans are feigning outrage over Tlaib and Omar’s anti-Semitic platform as a facade to attract Jewish donors.
Slotikin also dodged questions in May when asked by trackers from the Congressional Leadership Fund, Republican Super PAC, whether the house should censure Tlaib and Omar.
Omar elicited a similar response by her Democrat colleagues. Minnesota Rep. Peterson (D) claimed he hadn’t given any thought into endorsing Omar’s reelection bid when pressed on whether he would endorse the Muslim congresswoman, who notoriously minimized the Islamic terror attacks of 9/11.
Michigan and Minnesotan lawmakers aren’t the only Democrats trying to distance themselves from the “Squad” members. California Rep. Gil Cisneros also abstained from weighing in on whether he would support censuring Tlaib and Omar.
Their silence speaks volumes.
According to a poll published by Axios, only 9 percent of swing voters have a favorable view of Omar.
An Economist/YouGov Poll conducted in July, after Trump blasted the self-described Squad members, show Tlaib and Omar have weak favorability ratings among a national audience.
“Reps. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.), Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) and Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) all had net negative favorability ratings, of -7 points (24 percent unfavorable to 31 recent favorable), -8 (41 percent unfavorable to 33 percent favorable) and -9 (24 percent unfavorable to 25 percent favorable), respectively,” the Hill reported.
In addition to igniting national outrage over her constant condemnation of Israel and Jews, Omar is currently under investigation by the Federal Election Commission (FEC). The conservative National Legal and Policy Center filed a complaint with the FEC earlier this month, alleging Omar used tens of thousands of campaign donations to fund the expenses accumulated during her affair with political strategist Tim Mynett, as she reported the expenditure as “travel expenses.”
Omar, a 37-year-old Somali native and mother of three, is also facing legal jeopardy amid allegations that she committed immigration and tax fraud to conceal evidence of marrying her brother.
Public records show the scandal-plagued lawmaker divorced her alleged brother, Ahmed Elmi, in 2017 then legally married Hirsi in 2018.
However, Omar jointly filed tax returns with Hirsi for 2014 and 2015 while she was still married to Elmi, a Minnesota ethics investigation confirms. She then compensated an attorney to obfuscate tax fraud. As a candidate for Minnesota State House in 2016, Omar made a $1,500 payment to her lawyer so the campaign committee could independently obtain the candidate’s tax returns and rebut allegations that she married her brother.
Judicial Watch and Omar’s Minnesota colleague, Rep. Steve Drazkowski, are demanding the House Ethics Committee investigate Omar for immigration and tax fraud.
In June, Omar was ordered by the Minnesota Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board to reimburse her campaign finance committee $3,469.23 and a $500 civil fine in June, after the board discovered she violated state campaign finance rules by using her committee’s funds for out of-state-travel expenses.
“Ilhan Omar has already established a lengthy and extraordinary record of legal convictions and fines,” Drazkowski said. “This is a record upon which a House Ethics Committee should begin its investigation. But first, she needs to come forward and tell us the truth. She won’t even identify her own siblings at this stage.”
Tlaib, on the 18th anniversary of 9/11, was served with a lawsuit for allegedly assaulting our own Laura Loomer, a Jewish investigative journalist. The lawsuit charges Tlaib with assaulting Loomer in 2018 in Minnesota during a joint campaign event when Tlaib was a congressional candidate.
