After successfully lobbying to get investigative journalist Laura Loomer banned from Twitter, the Hamas-tied Council on American-Islamic Relations is now demanding the social media platform suspend President Donald Trump’s account.

CAIR claims the president should be censored from using the platform because he is “Islamophobic” and targeting Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar, the freshman Democrat notorious for professing anti-Semitic rhetoric.

Trump “is sharing a false, Islamophobic smear targeting Rep. Ilhan Omar  ” CAIR warned in a Sept. 19 press release, urging Twitter “to suspend the president’s account for violating its terms of service.”

CAIR demanded Trump’s removal in a response to the president’s retweet of a video featuring comedian Terrence Williams, in which the conservative comic blasted the Minnesota congresswoman for allegedly dancing on the anniversary of 9/11.

“Ilhan Omar, a member of AOC Plus 3, will win us the Great State of Minnesota. The new face of the Democratic Party!” Trump wrote.

“President Trump once again displays an absolute disregard both for the truth and for the harm he causes by spreading false, anti-Muslim smears for his own political gain,” said CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad. “Twitter must suspend the president’s account and stop his weaponization of social media to target Muslims, other minority communities and his perceived political enemies.”

Omar shot back, claiming Trump’s assertion was false and called on Twitter to take action for “lies that put my life at risk.”

“Meanwhile, Omar and Hamas-linked CAIR don’t think they put Trump’s life at risk when they constantly characterize him as ‘anti-Muslim,’ ‘racist,’ etc.,’ Jihad Watch’s Richard Spencer notes. “ What is Twitter doing to combat this misinformation?”

“If Omar and Hamas-linked CAIR believe that Trump is spreading ‘misinformation,’ they should counter him with the facts rather than demand that he be shut down,” he continued. “But they cannot do that, so they call for censorship, in exactly the same way that they work to shut down foes of jihad terror and Sharia oppression of women and others. They cannot refute us, so they work to silence us. And totalitarian Leftists and cowed, clueless dhimmis fall into line.”

Last November, CAIR reportedly lobbied Twitter to permanently suspend Loomer’s account to retaliate against her frequent criticism of the terror-linked organization and their “favorite daughters,” Omar and fellow anti-Semitic, Muslim Rep. Rashida Tlaib.

Loomer was banned from the platform after CAIR official Zahra Billoo, the executive-director of CAIR’s San Francisco Bay Area chapter, met with Twitter executives, The Wall Street Journal reported.

Billoo,a notorious advocate of Sharia Law has expressed for an Islamic caliphate. In 2014, she complained that she struggles with commemorating Memorial Day because American soldiers who unjustly fight unjust wars against Islamists should not be honored.

The tweet that resulted in Loomer’s suspension from the platform read:

“Isn’t it ironic how the twitter moment used to celebrate ‘women, LGBTQ, and minorities’ is a picture of Ilhan Omar? Ilhan is pro Sharia. Ilhan is pro- FGM Under Sharia, homosexuals are oppressed & killed. Women are abused & forced to wear the hijab. Ilhan is anti Jewish.”

Despite the blacklist, Loomer, now a Republican congressional candidate in Florida’s 21st district, remains influential on Twitter. She topped the trending list after protesting the Twitter ban, handcuffing herself to the entrance to Twitter’s New York City headquarters.

In April, the conservative firebrand filed a lawsuit against CAIR and Twitter, charging the organizations with conspiring to deprive her of earning a living through breach of contract. She also claims the blacklist damagingly interferes with a business relationship in violation of unfair trade practices act in Florida.

While Hamas-funded CAIR enjoys access to high-ranking Twitter executives and has authority over which individuals should be allowed to use the platform, the organizations have regularly demonstrated bigotry against various religions, ethnicities, women, homosexuals, and publicly declared support for terrorist groups under the guise of portraying itself as a Muslim “civil rights organization.”

In 2014, CAIR was classified as a terrorist organization in the United Arab Emirates and labeled as a Muslim Brotherhood entity by the United States. In 2008, CAIR was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the terror financing trial of the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development. As a result, the FBI discontinued its work with the organization.

Along with being classified as a terrorist organization in the UAE in 2014, CAIR has been labeled a Muslim Brotherhood entity by the Justice Department. Additionally, a federal judge, the U.S. Attorney General’s office, and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals determined CAIR has direct ties to Hamas.

The U.S. State Department classified HAMAS a designated terrorist organization in 2008, listing the jihadist group as a co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation HAMAS terror funding trial, the largest terrorism financing case in U.S. history.

The Trump administration has announced its plans to designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a “foreign terrorist organization,” which would impose a penalty on any individual organization doing business with the group.
