Law enforcement officials apprehended a suspect Friday for reportedly throwing a lit Molotov cocktail in the lobby of a U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services office in Florida.

The woman, identified as 35-year old Cellicia Hunt according to the Associated Press, walked into the office and tossed a bottle of gasoline with a lit fuse, Fox News reports. The fuse, however, detached from the bottle before it could ignite. No one has been reported as injured.

After the failed attempt to blow up the facility, security officers cuffed Hunt, restraining her until she was arrested by Federal Protective Service officers.

Hunt is slated to appear in federal court in Fort Lauderdale on Tuesday and is being held without bail.

Hunt, is the author of a book titled “Are You Submitting to Outlaws,” which features a tweet from Barack Obama on the cover, indicating her support of the former president.

Acting Director of Citizenship and Immigration Services Ken Cuccinelli, warned the attack is a result of rhetoric from anti-immigration law activists.

“Today’s attempted attack on one of our USCIS facilities using a Molotov cocktail is another example of the use of violence in place of debate by those who oppose the proper application of our immigration laws,” Cuccinelli tweeted, in response to a link to The Associated Press’ report of the failed attack.

“This is the 2d attack on a DHS facility in 2 months using a Molotov cocktail. Violence has no place in our society. Thankfully, no one was hurt today. We’re grateful to our security guards & the law enforcement officers of FPS who apprehended and arrested the assailant.”

The incident is the latest in a series of attacks against Homeland Security facilities, as congressional Democrats continue to ramp up rhetoric against Immigrations and Custom Enforcement.

Following freshman Rep. Alexandria Cortez’s insistence that detention centers housing illegal immigrants are no different than concentration camps, an armed perpetrator fired shots at ICE offices in San Antonio, Texas.

According to the FBI, the incursion was intended to intimidate ICE, rather than kill ICE employees because all the shots were fired at the floor of the complex.

On July 14, William van Spronsen, a 69-year old man associated with the fascist left-wing group Antifa, attempted to attack an ICE detention center in Tacoma, Washington with a rifle and “incendiary devices,” including propane tanks he aspired to use to burn down the facility. Police thwarted the attack by fatally shooting the perpetrator.

The president of the National Border Patrol Council Brandon Judd, the exclusive labor representative of approximately 16,000 Border Patrol agents warns “the hyperbolic rhetoric invoked by Democrats” is to blame for ICE domestic terrorists’ attacks on ICE.

“Some prominent Democrats have declared war on the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency (ICE), threatening the lives of federal officials in order to advance a radical political agenda and a policy of open borders,” Judd wrote in a Fox News op-ed published last week. “These Democrats are showing they have no limit on how far they will go to tear at the fabric of our nation, especially the institutions created by Congress to maintain domestic peace and security.”

“Democrats must be held responsible for the consequences of their dangerous rhetoric. In his manifesto, for example, van Spronsen justified his attempt at a mass murder attack by copying the language of anti-ICE zealot Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y.,” he continued. “If the Democrats keep broadcasting toxic messaging and hyperbolic accusations, we can expect even more egregious acts of anarchy from their base in the weeks and months to come. If they continue to inflame their base instead of standing up for the safety of the men and women who have sworn to defend American citizens and uphold American laws, the Democrats will have blood on their hands.”
