Fox News is no longer a network conservatives can trust, President Trump lamented Wednesday, arguing the outlet has become too left-leaning and “isn’t working for us anymore.”
Trump ripped Fox in a trio of tweets following a segment featuring a Democratic National Committee spokeswoman on “America’s Newsroom.”
“The spokesperson spewed whatever she wanted with zero pushback by anchor,” he admonished.
The president then ripped Fox’s decision to employ former DNC Chairwoman Donna Brazile as the network continues to give a platform to Juan Williams and anchor Shepard Smith, arguing their employment is proof the network is growing increasingly anti-Trump.
“They should go all the way LEFT and I will still find a way to Win — That’s what I do, Win. Too Bad!” Trump continued. “I don’t want to Win for myself, I only want to Win for the people. The New @FoxNews is letting millions of GREAT people down! We have to start looking for a new News Outlet. Fox isn’t working for us anymore!”
Fox News senior political analyst Brit Hume pushed back against the president.
President Trump has repeatedly ripped the network over its reporting on him and his administration.
In July, after the “fair and balanced” network aired claims made by the New York Times attributing the president’s policies to alleged decrepit conditions in migrant detention facilities along the border, Trump warned Fox’s coverage of the southern border is becoming as unreliable and “fake” as CNN.
