A DJ in The Hamptons was disinterested in former president Bill Clinton’s request to turn the music down at the East Hampton hotel Maidstone Friday night.

It was getting late in the night as Bill and Hillary Clinton dined with rockstar Jon Bon Jovi and former New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine, all of whom were engaged in a political discussion, when the DJ at the venue decided it was time to crank out the tunes for the rest of the guests who wanted to party.

“Bill asked the staff to turn down the music as the late-night music scene was just beginning because there were still people having dinner [and their table was deep in political discussion]. They were told ‘no’ by the DJ. The wait staff was pleading with the DJ to turn down the music, but the DJ wasn’t having it,” according to Page Six.

The Clintons, who became extraordinarily rich off of a life of “public service” (so much for the Democrats being the party of the working man) dined in the swanky section of New York’s Long Island with Washington, D.C. lobbyist Liz Robbins, a powerhouse who is a longtime ally of the Clinton family. Wealthy power players in politics and business are known to frequent The Hamptons.

That didn’t stop the fearless hero DJ from standing up for the common man.

Alas, there was no love lost, despite the fact that Clinton – the former leader of the free world – was thoroughly trounced by the beat maker who was ready to rock and roll.

“A second source, who confirmed Clinton asked the female DJ to turn down the volume, said she wittily won him over by playing Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Don’t Stop.’ The song was Clinton’s theme for his winning 1992 campaign,” Page Six said.

Still, from dynastic duo – one of whom was supposed to be president right now – to being waved off by a disk jockey, is a massive plummet from grace befitting of the Clintons. It truly has been all downhill for them since that fateful day in November of 2016.
