On Thursday August 8, 2019 Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited a refugee settlement near the West Bank Beit El and Palestinian Authority (PA) President Mahmoud Abbas visited the neighboring camp of Jalazone.
His arrival to the refugee camp was to pose for pictures and meet with the residents of this fairly autonomous camp. It was during that visit that the Palestinian Liberation Organization’s Secretary General Erekat and Abbas both revealed to the people residing in the disputed territory of the West Bank that Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar would be meeting with him at ad-Duheisha Camp in the next 10 days.
We shall enter Jerusalem – millions of fighters! We shall enter it! All of us, the entire Palestinian people, the entire Arab nation, the Islamic nation, and the Christian nation… They shall all enter Jerusalem!Palestinian Authority (PA) President Mahmud Abbas
It is reported that PA President Abbas had not visited the area in many years and his visit was unexpected and surprising since the people of Jalazone have lost confidence in him.
Abbas, reinforcing the notion that Netanyahu telling the nearby camp of Beit El that they are considering annexing their camp would essentially end any hopes that there would be a two-state solution.
We said to them: No to the meetings in Warsaw! No to the meetings in Manama! No to anything that is unacceptable to the Palestinian people! Jerusalem, whatever they call it… ‘United’… They moved their embassy… Jerusalem is ours whether they like it or not.Palestinian Authority (PA) President Mahmud Abbas
After Omar lied at a recent press conference claiming that she had arranged to meet with The Knesset, her full schedule became available and indeed she was to be visiting the Refugee camp ad-Duheisha, informally named Dheisheh Camp.
Once again, it seems that the State of Israel made the right choice to disallow Omar and Tlaib from entering their country. If the conversations they would be having with people were anywhere remotely similar to that of the Palestinian Authority (PA) President Mahmoud Abbas and the crowd singing:
To Jerusalem we march, martyrs by the millions! To Jerusalem we march, martyrs by the millions! To Jerusalem we march, martyrs by the millions!
If Omar and Tlaib visited that refugee site and a repeat of what happened in Jalazone occurred where war cry singing ensued…it would have reflected VERY negatively on our nation’s foreign policy and caused tensions and irreparable damage to the U.S. as a nation since Omar is a representative on the US Foreign Affairs Committee.
On the day she was set to travel to Israel, Omar tweeted her “war cry” inciting civil unrest.
Omar tweeted, “Could we take back our democracy if 1.7 million Americans marched for it?”
Abbas certainly viewed Omar’s itinerary and her tweet as a dogwhistle.
This week, Abbas threatened that “one million fighters” would swarm Jerusalem and conquer Israel’s capital city, adding, “no matter how many houses and how many settlements they declare that they [plan to build] here and there– they shall all be destroyed.”
It’s almost as if Omar and Abbas have the same speech writer!
If that isn’t enough to suggest possible coordination between Omar and Abbas, Abbas told the people at the Jalazone Camp that the Palestinian Authority would not stop sending payments to Palestinian terrorists and the families of Palestinians who murder Jews and Israelis.
Not surprisingly, while serving in the Minnesota Legislature in 2017, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) was one of two state legislators who voted against a bill that would allow insurance companies to block payouts to the relatives of terrorists.
To date, not a single Democrat member of Congress has condemned Omar’s Jew hatred, her support of Palestinian terrorists, her advocacy for members of ISIS convicted in Minnesota, her alliance with the Muslim Brotherhood, nor her active efforts to undermine US relations with Israel as a sitting member of the US Foreign Affairs Committee.
