Whistleblower: Google ‘Tampering With The Elections To Essentially Overthrow The United States’

Investigative watchdog Project Veritas published a trove of documents on Wednesday provided by former Google insider Zachary Vorhies, who alleges the tech giant is “tampering with elections to essentially overthrow the United States.”

Vorhies, who was an employee at Google for over eight years, has also reportedly turned over 950 documents to the Justice Department’s Antitrust division.

“The reason why I collected these documents was because I saw something dark and nefarious going on with the company. I felt that our entire election system was going to be compromised forever by this company that told the American public that it was not going to do any evil,” Vorhies told Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe. “And I saw that they were making really quick moves, not only in the documents, but also in the internal speeches the executives were giving to the company, that they were intending to do that — they were intending to sculpt the information landscape so that they could create their own version of what was collectively true.”

One of the documents Vorhies provided is titled “Fringe ranking/classifier: Defining channel quality,” which contains a list which ranks news sites by their level of trustworthiness. The document ranks the Wall Street Journal as the most trusted news site and the Next News Network as the least trustworthy, ranking just below Alex Jones.

Another document is called a “news black list site for Google Now,” which Vorhies explained is a “blacklist” that prohibits certain websites from appearing on news feeds for Android Google products. The list includes the conservative website newsbusters.org and the leftist website mediamatters.org.

A document titled “Fake news & other fringe: Trashy recap” reveals videos on Google’s platforms are rated by multiple “human raters.”

Vohries said he’s relieved after taking steps to expose how the powerful tech giant is manipulating the public and attempting to intervene in US elections and urged more insiders at Google to expose big tech abuses.

“I’ve been living with this like burden for three years, since 2016 when they started changing everything and you know, and to have that burden lifted off of my soul is — I’ve never felt happier or more at peace with myself than I have like right now.”

“My message to those that are on the fence is I released the documents. They can go in, they can see everything that Google is doing and then they can see the scale of it. Because I think that there’s a lot of engineers that have a hint that things are wrong, but they don’t understand the colossal scale that it’s at,” he said. “And so for those people, I say, look at the documents, take the pulse of America, see what’s happening and come and tell the world you know what you already know to be true.”

In July, the U.S. Department of Justice announced a huge antitrust investigation into the Big Four Tech companies—Google, Facebook, Apple and Amazon. The Justice Department is evaluating whether the juggernauts are engaging in monopolistic anti-competitive activities.
