A large group of teens brutally assaulted a New York City art gallery owner on Tuesday evening for wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat.
The victim, Jahangir “John” Turan told Fox 5 NY he had purchased the signature red MAGA hat from Trump Tower just moments before he was brutally beaten by a mob of 15 “kids.”
The group “flipped” his hat onto the street, yelled “Fuck Trump,” slugged him in the face, shoved him to the ground and stomped him, before one of the attackers bulldozed his head into a scaffold, Turan explained.
Fortunately, Turan was able to escape the beat down and seek assistance from law enforcement officers.
“It all happened within 10 seconds,” he said. “I jumped out, crossed the street and called the police.”
When police arrived on the scene, the group continued to shout anti-Trump sentiments, NBC New York reports, but the police did nothing.
Turan suffered a severe left eye injury after the assault, bruises and a fracture in his cheek. He is awaiting results from an eyes specialist on whether there has been permanent damage to his sight.
“I love President Trump. I think he’s doing a great job,” Turan said.
“It’s sad to get beat up for wearing this hat. This is America.”
According to police, Turna refused medical attention after the assault. There is no reported information on the alleged perpetrators.

Months later, Congressmen Steve Scalise and five others shot by rabid anti-Trump activist and former Bernie Sanders volunteer James Hodgkinson prior to a congressional charitable event. Hodgkinson had a list of names of the Republican lawmakers he wanted to murder.
Just three days before the shooting, Huffington Post published an article calling for Trump to be prosecuted and executed, arguing impeaching the president was not enough.
In July, independent journalist Andy Ngo suffered a brain hemorrhage after getting brutally beaten in Portland, Oregon by members of Antifa who doused him in quick-drying, cement-laced milkshakes.
Two weeks later, this reporter was bombarded and threatened by an Antifa drag queen mob during a “Demand Free Speech” rally in Washington, DC and police refused to intervene.
As of July 2018, there were 639 “Acts of Media-Approved Violence and Harassment Against Trump Supporters,” Breitbart News reports.
Hard to believe the police did nothing. They should have taken a report at least. Why would the victim refuse medical attention at the scene?
This article definitely stockpiles artillery against those committing insurrection and rebellion against this Constitutional Republic. Our laws and civil rights are being violated, not only by other citizens but by those in public office or in law enforcement. When these do not take the appropriate actions on behalf of citizens they must be investigated nd removed from office. Citizens must demand the laws be upheld. To file a law suit where this type of criminal activity takes place is essential, to combat lawlessness and protect other citizens.

The NY police is touted as so great. This incident indicates they are just a bunch of cowards, afraid of a gang of teenagers. Either that, or they don’t want to add another incident report of the left-wing thugs the Mayor allows to roam the streets. This could easily have been a racist attack – the man is obviously not white… I’d like to hear the police chief explain why these thugs were not taken in for assault and battery with personal injury. The Democrats must stop asking for riots, and violence against people for what they are wearing, its free speech! They are All Guilty of Inciting a riot and that is a federal offense!! All should be arrested, and put in jail, pay a fine whatever it takes to make them stop breaking the laws.

I consider this provable terrorism and there is no reason why the police should not step in or the city/state prosecutors should not take steps to bring fed charges against these thugs…If they are not prosecuted then the law is worth nothing and retaliation is the only means left to the victim to gain safety….The RTC should be a Fed law, concealed or otherwise….

Come try to take my MAGA hat or threaten me for wearing it. I am almost 72 years old, and partially crippled by a degenerative hip condition. However, I am also a former police officer, firearms training officer, and expert marksman, and I am always armed. I can promise you that any such attack or threat made against me will leave a substantial number of attackers on their way to hell before I go down. As I said, that is not a threat, it is a guaranteed promise.
