President Donald J. Trump announced Saturday that he was considering designating Antifa as a domestic terror organization.

“Consideration is being given to declaring ANTIFA, the gutless Radical Left Wack Jobs who go around hitting (only non-fighters) people over the heads with baseball bats, a major Organization of Terror (along with MS-13 & others). Would make it easier for police to do their job!” he said on Twitter.

Antifa is a loosely affiliated communist group known for numerous violent attacks in major metropolitan areas. They operate under the guise of “anti-fascism” and believe that they operate on the same moral plane as those who fought actual Nazis in WWII.

Last week, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) introduced legislation that would make Antifa a designated terrorist group.

The group’s latest run-in with the law – which was completely ignored by the mainstream press – was when terrorist Willem Van Spronsen attempted to blow up a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in Tacoma, Washington. He even invoked the rhetoric of far-left congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) in a manifesto that he left behind.

“The freshman congresswoman sparked two weeks of furor after calling the ICE detention camps ‘concentration camps,'” we reported. “This website wondered yesterday whether her rhetoric inspired this man to commit his act of terror. The answer, at least partly, is yes.”

“In these days of fascist hooligans preying on vulnerable people on our streets, in the name of the state or supported and defended by the state, in these days of highly profitable detention/concentration camps and a battle over the semantics…” Van Spronsen said in the document.
