When asked to denounce Al-Qaeda and female genital mutilation, scandal-plagued Rep. Ilhan Omar refused to do so on Tuesday while speaking in Washington DC at the inaugural “Muslim Caucus”, arguing the question is “waste of time” and premised on Islamophobia.
“Will you be able to make a statement against FGM? Because that’s an issue in Detroit, and it would be really powerful if the two Muslim Congresswomen, yourself and Rashida, would make a statement on this issue,” President of Muslims for Progressives Values Ani Zonneveld asked Omar, prompting the far-left Muslim congresswomen to go on a incensed tirade.
“Should I make a schedule? Like, should this need to be on repeat every 5 minutes? Should I be like, ‘so, today I forgot to condemn Al-Qaeda, so here’s the Al-Qaeda one. Today I forgot to condemn FGM so here it goes. Today I forgot to condemn Hamas so here it goes.’ It is a very frustrating question that comes up.”
Omar called the question “appalling” and lamented outrage over Muslim legislators being subject to questions regarding Islam.
“I’m quite disgusted to be honest that as Muslim legislators, we are constantly being asked to waste our time speaking to issues that other people are not asked to speak to because the assumption exists that we somehow support [it].”
After her longwinded rant, Omar still refused to condemn female genital mutilation, which is practiced by Muslims who adhere to Sharia Law.
The Minnesota congresswoman has faced backlash after refusing to condemn a domestic terrorist attack against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and has never denounced Al-Qaeda.
The freshman Democrat also requested a judge show for compassion for men convicted of trying to join ISIS, trivialized the 9/11 terror attacks, blamed America for the Venezuelan crisis and blasted U.S. troops who killed terrorists in Somalia.
On Tuesday, Rep. Rashida Tlaib was also asked to condemn FGM, Sharia, and Hamas by LauraLoomer.US contributors Alicia Powe and Jacob Engles. Just like Omar, Tlaib refused.
According to the government watchdog Judicial Watch, there is overwhelming evidence to warrant a criminal investigation of Omar. Judicial Watch announced the group filed and hand-delivered a complaint to the House Ethics Committee, demanding a full investigation into the allegations committed the Democratic lawmaker married her brother to fraudulently skirt U.S. immigration law.

The House condemned FMG/C in May and Omar and Rashida voted for the condemnation,SO, OMAR IT IS A political thing it is a THING being dealt with AND a legitimate question .

Yes people, THIS Is the face of the enemy. They will slime into power, and shout you down for daring to ask them to condemn violent groups and terrorists. Next, they will punish you for it, then they will kill you if you do not submit.

She’s a slave, as evidenced by her refusal to take the towel off her head (a woman’s symbol of ownership by the men in her life) and now as also evidenced by her implied support for FGM. She was probably mutilated herself. We should collectively ask to see. We should also prosecute her for practicing slavery in America. Deliberately insisting that oneself be recognized and treated as a slave is implicitly against our anti-slavery laws. Promoting slavery of women should also be considered “offensive, violent speech” and silenced in our PC culture.
As a free woman, I have less than zero tolerance for an uppity, incestuous slave woman feeding off my dime and telling me that I should want to live in bondage as she does. I vote to take care of the Omar problem by executing her, in compliance with the Sharia law she loves, for being seen in public without a male guardian/owner at all times. Hey, those who preach living by the sword should die by it, too.
If I was Islmaphobic, I would not care about this issue, because I would not care what happened to Muslim girls. BUT the real issue is the barbaric practice inflicted on young girls by other women to mutilate their genitals for control by Muslim men. And it is happening in the U.S. And then we have Omar accusing white males of being terrorists.
She could have said, yes, I have condemned this practice as reflected in legislation she signed on to or voted for. Show us you want to protect these young victims from this heinous practice and get you your arrogant high horse.
