Several Twitter users reported receiving the following error message when visiting President Donald J. Trump’s timeline after his viral Tweets calling out the “Hamas Caucus” on Sunday morning:

Obviously, there’s no reason why this message would ever appear, given that Trump drives the news cycle every day via his notorious Twitter account. A logical explanation is that Trump is being censored by the tech giant, which, by the way, implemented a new policy last week allowing itself to restrict access to the accounts of government officials.

Left-wing rag Vanity Fair, celebrated Twitter’s announcement:

“Twitter on Thursday announced it will add warning labels to problematic tweets from politicians like Donald Trump, whose deranged posts may violate its rules, but remain a matter of public interest. It’s a potentially major step toward rooting out harmful content on the site, but raises familiar concerns for a company that has long been inept at policing content, and hesitant to do so in the first place.”

The odd manipulation of Trump’s account came only hours after he criticized freshmen Congresswomen Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), both members of the Hamas caucus. The term Hamas Caucus was invented by conservative investigative journalist Laura Loomer, given the reps’ support from the Hamas-tied Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). Loomer’s phrase has even been popularized by Donald Trump Jr.

“So interesting to see ‘Progressive’ Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful Nation on earth, how our government is to be run,” Trump said on Twitter. “Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how it is done. These places need your help badly, you can’t leave fast enough. I’m sure that Nancy Pelosi would be very happy to quickly work out free travel arrangements!”

The first Tweet was clearly aimed at Omar, a Somali-born refugee, who all week has been in the news after she called America unjust, and compared it to her civil-war torn, terrorist filled native land.

The last Tweet was a dig at the clear fracture in the Democratic Party between the younger, more zealous members and the old guard establishment figures like House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). Earlier in the week, AOC reignited her longstanding, albeit relatively-quiet beef with Pelosi, implying that Pelosi was a racist. One of AOC’s first acts during her freshman congressional orientation was to protest climate change policy outside Pelosi’s office. Their relationship has been strained ever since.

Apparently, pointing that out did not sit well with Twitter officials, who are hell bent on protecting Democrats from criticism or scorn, evidenced by their banning of high-profile conservatives, including Laura Loomer, whom the site banned for simply calling Omar “anti-Jewish.”
