WASHINGTON – Former Republican National Committee Chair Michael Steele reportedly castigated President Donald Trump for being a “motherfucker” who is defiling the White House in a soon to be released book.

Steele’s comments are featured in American Courage: On the Front Lines of the Republican Civil War by Politico writer Tim Alberta.

The MSNBC contributor and former RNC chair makes “startling” remarks about the president and “deploys rhetoric reminiscent of a controversial remark by Rashida Tlaib,”  reports the Guardian, which obtained a copy of the book.

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) infamously pledged during her election victory party to “impeach the mother*cker” in the White House.

“Trump, Steele says, is a ‘motherfucker … defiling the White House,’” the book states, according to the Guardian.

The former leader of the Republican Party has disparaged the president on numerous occasions, claiming Trump is a “racist” and liar.

In February, the MSNBC pundit claimed Trump was upset a self-identified white nationalist was stopped from carrying out an attack.

U.S. Coast Guard Lt. Christopher Paul Hasson, who wanted “focused violence” to “establish a white homeland” and made a list of targets, primarily Democratic lawmakers and liberal journalists and began researching ways to carry out the attack. After Hanson was arrested by the FBI, Steele insinuated that Trump wanted someone like Hasson to carry out racially motivated attacks.

“Why would we be surprised that a that a self-proclaimed nationalist would not speak out against a self-proclaimed white nationalist? Why are we acting like this is a space Donald Trump is going to go in on behalf of the American ideal?” Steele asked, rhetorically. “No, he’s not. And these are his people, alright? And he’s not going to stop them and thank law enforcement. He’s probably not happy about what law enforcement did.”
