Donald Trump Jr., President Trump’s son, blasted Mayor Bill de Blasio Friday after the 2020 presidential candidate claimed anti-Semitism is strictly a “right wing movement”.
Speaking at a press conference in Brooklyn Tuesday, de Blasio argued the left plays no role in discriminating against Jews.
“I think the ideological movement that is anti-Semitic is the right-wing movement,” de Blasio said, addressing the increase of hate crimes in New York City. “I want to be very, very clear, the violent threat, the threat that is ideological is very much from the right.”
The New York City mayor also claimed right-wing perpetrators of anti-Semitic hate crimes trace their history back to Nazism and fascism.
Perhaps De Blasio needs a history lesson? Nazism, otherwise known as ***National Socialism*** is and always has been a Left-wing movement.
Hate crimes against all minority groups are up 64% compared to this time last year. Anti-Semitic incidents have spiked by 90%.
Trump Jr. fired back on Twitter, slamming newly elected Muslim Reps. Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar as the “Hamas Caucus” – a term coined by investigative journalist Laura Loomer – and warned De Blasio’s rhetoric is dangerous and hypocritical.
“Yea all those right wingers like Rashida Tlaib andIlhanOmar heading the Hamas Caucus in Congress.”
Trump Jr. was referring to HAMAS, the Palestinian terrorist organization that fires rockets into Israel and seeks to destroy Israel and eradicate the Jewish people.
“This rhetoric is not only incredibly stupid it’s also very dangerous,” Trump Jr. said.
Omar and Tlaib have both faced staunch criticism after making incendiary remarks about Israel, Jewish people, and statements in support of HAMAS and ISIS.
Omar, who allegedly married her brother for fraudulent immigration purposes, accused Israel of buying off members of Congress for foreign support, igniting backlash from both Democrats and Republicans in February.
Last month, Tlaib, who was draped in a Palestinian flag during her election victory party on of Nov. 6, admitted that thinking about the Holocaust gave her “kind of a calming feeling.” She then justified her controversial remarks, explaining that the aftermath of the Holocaust allowed the Palestinians to help create “a safe haven for Jews”, a statement that is entirely false.
If Rashida would have studied the Holocaust, which she hasn’t, given that she is a member of Holocaust denier Facebook pages and denies that the Holocaust ever happened, she would know that Mohammed Amin al-Husseini, who served as the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, worked side by side with Hitler during the Holocaust to murder Jewish people with the help of Palestinians in the al-Husseini brigade.
The only calming feeling Rashida is referring to is the one she gets from knowing that her Palestinian ancestors likely helped Hitler murder Jews during the Holocaust.
Trump Jr. has previously accused Omar and Tlaib of supporting Hamas.
In February, Omar claimed Stephen Miller, one of President Trump’s top advisors a “white nationalist.” Miller is Jewish.
The president’s eldest son hit back against the freshmen Democrat, likening Omar to the notorious anti-Semitic Louis Farrakhan.
“I see that the head of the Farrakhan Fan Club, @IlhanMN, took a short break from spewing her usual anti-Semitic bigotry today to accuse a Jewish man of being a ‘white nationalist’ because she apparently has no shame,”
Trump Jr. tweeted in an apparent reference to Louis Farrakhan, the head of the Nation of Islam who has a history of making anti-Jewish statements. Farrakhan has openly praised Omar for her derogatory comments about Jews and Israel.
Trump Jr.’s comparison of Tlaib and Omar as Hamas loyalists comes after Loomer condemned the newly elected members of Congress for their history of anti-Israel sentiment, warning they should be referred to as the “Hamas Caucus.”
“I forgot to tell you guys, my friends and I last week decided that the new Jew haters in Congress shall be referred to as the “HAMAS caucus” from this point onward,” she declared on Twitter, prior to being banned from the platform in November, 2018.
Twitter permanently banned Loomer for calling Omar “anti Jewish” and arguing that the Minnesota Democrat is a member of a religion in which “homosexuals are oppressed” and “women are abused” and “forced to wear the hijab.”
In August, prior to winning their congressional seats, Loomer confronted Tlaib and Omar at a joint campaign event in Minnesota and asked the pair to condemn HAMAS. Both refused.
During their congressional campaigns, both Tlaib and Omar were endorsed by the Council on American-Islamic Relations, which is designated as a terrorist organization in the United Arab Emirates.
The first two Muslim members of Congress are also endorsed by Linda Sarsour, who called for Muslims to carry out jihad against President Donald J. Trump in a speech in 2017. Sarsour is connected to the recent discovery of an Islamic jihad training camp in New Mexico.
